@@aya.m.92Round 12, I think I explained repeating 2dc, 2dc, 3dc in ch1 space, but instead of the 2 2dcs, 1dc, dc2tog, 1dc. If it doesn’t make any sense to you, ignore this, I made these what I explained and they are still good in shapes.

Thank you so much!!! I made the hat along with the tutorial and I’m not quite finish but I love it so far. I did use a larger hook then downsized like you said and it is bigger but still cute. I will try to post a picture when I’m finished.

Hi Im a beginner and I want to know if my head circumference is 22" then I should crochet 11" diameter for a hat and how many inches should I crochet for the ribbing (the opening part of the hat where your head goes)?

Hi Philaribha, if the diameter is 11”, the circumference is about 33”, so you have to decrease it to 20” or 19”. However before starting, please check the circumference how you wear it, if you wear it horizontally or slightly angled, the size will be slightly different. Yes, and also very enjoyable!

I'm having trouble with this. I've followed the pattern, using the same gauge but the size of the beret is like a child size and doesn't fit like it fits the model. So I tried increasing by repeat rounds e.g rounds 2 &3 a couple of times but then it starts to warp like I have too many stitches and doesn't like flat. How can I make the beret larger without this happening? I'm new to crochet.

The easiest way to do it, please use the larger hook. And, if you increase the stitches, it’s not a wise idea without calculating. According to your story, I’m afraid you don’t follow the multiple, and the way is for experienced people and needs a calculation. So far, I recommend you to use a larger hook to fit to your size. Does it make sense? I hope it will help you and solve the issue🤗🤗🤗

​@@SusannasHobbies I used a 5.5 mm hook 😂😂😂 mine still look like a child beret 🥺🥺🥺🥺 . I took a screenshot of the multicolor beret that I saw in the beginning and I noticed something while I was counting stitches I don't know if I'm wrong but in round 7 it's (3dc,ch1 in next space 2dc,ch 1+ 2dc ) it makes the beret bigger. In don't know if I'm wrong but that's what I noticed
