How to Crochet baby bloomers | diaper cover | panties for 0-12 months

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hello 👋 my name is Sara and welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today's tutorial I will show you how to crochet these easy baby girl crochet bloomers, crochet diaper covers or crochet panties for 1-3 months. if you would like to make them smaller or bigger you can by simply changing your hook. in the video i explain how.
For this crochet baby bloomers tutorial I used Lion Brand light #3 baby yarn. I used about 50 grams of yarn. You may need less or more depending big or small you make them. You can also use cotton thread #10 just use 2 strands or cotton thread #3 like Bernat Softee Cotton baby yarn.
Please remember that this channel is bilingual, this means that ALL my tutorials are in Spanish and English. If you see a new tutorial and its not in English, wait until the next day since at times I can't upload both videos at the same time. Thank you for watching and subscribing to my channel.

    is there anyway at all you have written instructions for the dress and pantie set? i absolutely ADORE your baby patterns (all of them), and i know i will use them a number of times. it is very hard for me to write things down as my handwriting is bad and dont always have the time to write lengthy instructions.

    Beautiful! Why did you turn it? Was it to make it look neater at the top of the bloomers? This is interesting for I've never seen this technique done before. I normally crochet in the back bump(middle) stitch to accomplish neatness, but this seems quicker? Oh...and is it done so there wont be a join at the join?..kind of seemless?

    I recently discovered your channel and love it! Such beautiful items!! Wondering if using a foundation half double crochet would be ok or if there’s a reason why you did the chains first? I have found that sometimes the foundation stitches don’t work well is why I ask. You’re so talented!!

    I love this, it's so cute. I have a question though. when you do the first row of ruffles you have them with the right side facing out, but the second and third row of ruffles you have them wrong side facing out. Could we start on the opposite side for second and third rows so they all have the ruffle facing right side out?

  • @CrochetForBaby

    @CrochetForBaby

    Glad you like it. All 3 rows were done on the wrong side on purpose since I like the way it looks in this particular pattern of fans but you can do it the other way if you prefer. Thanks for watching.

    ok I am a bit confused. I went back and watched it all again. in the beginning of the video you show the sample and indeed the first ruffle is worked with right side facing out. And when I follow step by step in the video, when you get to the first ruffle it is clearly right side out and the other two are wrong side out?

    This is such a cute set and its wonderful of you to share a tutorial! Thank you. Im confused as to why you yarn OVER in the beginning of your stitches but as you make the rest of your stitch you are yarning UNDER. This is usually a no no in crochet as the stitches are shorter and don't quite look as they should. Just wondering if it's the way you learned or if there is another purpose for it.

  • @CrochetForBaby

    @CrochetForBaby

    5 жыл бұрын

    You’re welcome. It’s called a compensated stitch. This is how I learned and you can do it how ever way you know and the end result will be the same. It was made this way to save yarn so I was told and to make your stitches straight up on top of the stitch and not slightly slanted. Guess there isn’t a right or wrong way as long as the same result is achieved 😉

    @@CrochetForBaby Thank you sooo much! I actually couldn't wait so I started them yesterday. I had dk in my stash and thought I'd try and see what happens. They are simply, stunningly, PERFECT! I'm now up to the little shells for the finishing touch! Thank you!

    On the part where you use green and pink hooks, the first row you said to meet back was a green. Then you completed first row and it’s now pink.

    It’s the same size. That’s why there is no mention of it. Otherwise I would have said to change hooks but maybe I need to start saying to change your hook to another color lol 😂 . Thanks for watching and glad you liked it regardless of using a different hook color 😉

    Did you use pink yarn and white yarn or is the yarn in your tutorial pink variegated ?

    The yoke is a pink variegated yarn but the rest of is just pink yarn by the same brand. Here’s the same yarn but for another baby dress kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqimltqHkbi9itI.html

    How we only need to change the hook size? What about the starting chains? Shouldn’t they be a different count?

    Hi. When using a bigger/ smaller hook your stitch is bigger/ smaller therefore changing the size slightly.
