In today's crochet tutorial we are going to make this beautiful and super easy crochet baby diaper cover or crochet baby bloomers that's ideal for beginners. This crochet baby diaper cover is for 3 to 6 months baby girls but it can be made smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way as this tutorial with same yarn weight. To make smaller or bigger:
NB use 4mm hook with #4, aran or 10ply yarn
0-3M use 4.5mm hook with #4, aran or 10ply yarn
3-6M use 5mm hook with #4, aran or 10ply yarn
6-12M use 5.5mm hook with #4, aran or 10ply yarn
1-2yrs use 6mm hook with #4, aran or 10ply yarn

For some reason everytime I get to row twelve it's the shell stitch and single crochet round, do I just add an extra row and continue or should I go back and count again. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong honestly. I'm super confused, I thought I was fine until I got there. I'm making newborn size so maybe that's why?

I love your videos. I’m having difficulty understanding that this should be 13.75 inches long when your done with the shell stitches, when it’s not much bigger then size of your hand. Can you please clarify? Thank you.

I’m not sure which other one you’re comparing this to but keep in mind that the style and design could be different or I did a mistake when measuring. Unfortunately I don’t have the original piece to double check my measurements. So sorry.

I agree! I think the measurements are wrong as there are only 5 rows of shells. Lovely design but confusing length. I’m still going…
I was also confused about it being too small to be 13.75 inches...but what I did was fast forward to the end of the video and it shows 12 rows of the pattern before the legs...so as long as you count the rows you're fine..the length that Sara mentioned was just a mistake..because remember that she is making it for a 3-6 month baby..so you have to do the math...lol so when in doubt guys, just remember what size Sara is making this cute little diaper cover for..I just love it!! Sara, you really are just so amazing!! This is the first time I am ever doing a diaper cover and I love it!! Thanks!🙃😊
