He has a baseball cap, and is getting a beanie (with a pompom of course), a chef hat (club crochet tutorial), and a cowboy hat for Christmas, all crocheted. I’m also making him a witch hat for a Halloween video on my channel. He even has a bow tie... I guess he’s a stylish bunny! 😂

My class is hatching chickens and I made this hat for one of the chicks. I have never felt happier then seeing a little ball of fluff in a top hat.

So cute. Going to try one.It’s great seeing a man crochet. I’m a new male crocheter and I get teased a lot. Lol

Dude that sucks. I got teased too and it's a bummer, but we both know that crocheting is awesome. The people that tease others about something like this have problems of their own that they are sorting out, I know it's difficult but don't take it personally. They'll look back at that and be ashamed and you'll go on making amazingly awesome stuff with your new talent that they thought was too feminine. It's dumb, I went through it too, but I really can't stress enough how much you should not let teasing get to you. Happy hooking my dude.

@Petra Johnson I'm 14 now but was once In your same situation, just push through and it gets better. As someone on the other side I can tell you it will get better.

I've been making a (now large) army of crochet ghosts and have run out of face ideas, so now I'm gonna start adding hats! I love your videos, they're the only thing getting me through the pandemic

Omg I'm doing the same thing! I'm making a sweater and top hat for my snake's birthday!!!! Omg I'm so happy I can relate to someone!!!!

Used this for the Knot Too Shabby Crochet Bronto the Dinosaur pattern and it fit perfectly! Great pattern, took me about 20 mins. Edit: I actually made the pattern a little bigger to fit the head of the Dino. Very easy to alter the pattern!

@@pallavipati306 I crocheted a few more rows at the top to make it wider before dipping down. Then I made it longer by also adding a few more rows. After you add the rows, just continue the pattern as normal. Hope this helps! Let me know if you need any more clarifications.

@@pallavipati306 haha! Im sorry, could be just the thickness of your yarn or hook is off and the dips are less pronounced because of it.

I loved this so much I did tweak it a little bit like adding a few things such one row of a decrease and one extra layer for the brim it turned out great tho and I'm glad I found this video I'll definitely subscribe to see more of ur content I did put this hat on a baby octopus it was so cute wish I could pin a pic

I am very beginner (i started yesterday) and how to u know when u finished a round?

if you could, can you make the hat have a hole if you know what i mean so like a rim with a bucket like thing and sew it i think

On round five, is he doing a single chain through both loops? He just says do a single chain, but didn’t indicate what he was doing through. I tried to double the size and increased to 24 total and my hat doesn’t quite curve abruptly. Looks more like a cowboy hat.

I am planning to make this and a few more hats for my classroom pet (he's a hedgehog and I love him), but I'm unsure on what types of yarn may be safe for him. This is my first time doing anything like this, does anyone have any ideas, clues, or tips?

If you want to make the brim longer, should you do another round in just sc or continue the pattern of sc, inc, sc, inc?

You'll need the inc stitches to go longer, if you just did a round of sc it would go down instead of out.

Either increase out to 18 stitches around prior to beginning the sc in each st rounds, or use a thicker weight yarn. Sorry for the late reply! Totally missed this :(

I don't in this pattern. Usually I just crochet around in a spiral for amigurumi, but I'll be coming out with a video in a few weeks to talk about how to crochet perfect stripes by connecting with a slip stitch.

This will be perfect for the piggyback bear i baught since i want him with a lil hat cauze, ahem.... He will be a certain GOLDEN YELLOW bear with a cute top hat (sooooon)

You could sew it, or add a long piece of yarn at the end so it can be removed, depending on where you are placing it
