I did mine in one long piece of 32 rows and brought 6 of the rows on each side up over the top and then crocheted the sides closed. It was much easier than making 3 pieces.

That's how imma do it. It makes more since
Wouldn’t that be the back loop, not the front loop?
The loop furthest from you is the back loop, closest to you is front loop, good tutorial though otherwise, easy to follow thus far.

That's what I thought too.
Thank you for this tutorial! I made my reusable swiffer pad last night and now my daughter wants me to make her one. LOL
Thank you once again for the tutorial. I just wanted to tell you that when you do the bottom part of the swiffer mop it suppose to be the back loop only instead of the front loop to get the rigid texture of the mop. And I going to make more of the swiffer mops in the near future . Happy Crocheting.
I agree with Kimberly, your instructions and your actions are in the back loop only not the front loop. If someone skip the video and copy the instructions they would be somewhat screwed!

Nah, I don't think it's actually that big of a deal ( I caught that issue too) because you should still get the same texture, just reversed.
Thank you for the great tutorial. Well done. And Happy Cleaning .
Your video is so clear and easy to follow. Thank you!

Thank you! Glad you liked it! ☺
Love it! Ty!
Hi...you are saying to do it in the front loop only...but you are actually doing it in the back loop. Confused

Yep. Lol
Thanks ❤️
Hello very nice idea. I love it. What size yarn did you use.
Can you make it one piece and fold a sew the 6 rows on each end? So 32 rows!

I think that would be easier too.
Thank u
Aren't you making DCs in the Back Loops?
I just wrap a microfiber cleaning cloth over the head and use office binder clips to secure it. No cutting and no sewing, but love these do it yourself videos anyway
I got recycled polyester. I thought about cotton but it takes a long time to dry and gets damaged by any amount of mildew so polyester won plus bonus on recycled fiber.
Actually in order for it to be smooth on one side and ridged on the other, don’t you have to do back loop, which you are calling the front loop, every other row.?
Isn’t that the back loop? The written instructions don’t match the video. Made it a bit confusing.
Something nice for us Michiganders to do in the winter months. Lol
Suggestion, why not start from 1 end and go completely around when attaching ends instead of top corner , cut then attach other bottom. Like your tutorial, thank you
Is it back loop or front? You say front but in the video it looks like back.
It's in the back loop not the front loop
I would like a printed pattern! How do I get that ?
I would have crocheted it all together.
Unfortunately website link to pattern is not working
um...The website is down...did it get taken down?
How many mm id a g hook?
I make these but I only make a one piece it's a lot easier
That's the back loop.
tried to get to site and it's not working
Please, I have 4mm and a 4.5mm and both say G on them. Which is yours. There is an obvious difference. Hmmm no answers. Guess im going to use the 4.5 because the 4 just looks too flimsy ❤😊
Make one size to over lap and just tuck it in.
Fyi .mthat is the back loop hon, not the front loop
that is a back loop, not a front loop
Just add 12 rows to length and only fold over and sew
No close caption 😪
You make more work for yourself do that way I do make them it's one item to fit on it.

I make one peace for it then I sew it for the swiffer mop cover. You crochet like 3 things for it.
I learned the loop futherest is the back loop, not the front loop. Without the video a written pattern would totally confuse people. Thank you otherwise it is a great pattern!
I didn't watch the video feed but I copied the instructions and again, if you don't watch the video you are screwed! You instructions don't say anything about finishing off the piece and started another so in total you make 3 piece and then sew them together.

I think the author meant Back Loops. I viewed another video in which the other author says back loops and she actually crocheted in the back loops. Also, she made it longer without making 2 extra sides that way the sides were folded over which made it quicker and more efficient. Overall; all the author’s patterns for the swifter mops are brilliant and helpful. I will not invest in buying those pads again will crochet my own.😊
