Easy Crochet Swiffer covers

Reusable, washable and durable, these crochet covers are so easy to make and a perfect project for beginners.
I purchased the Sugar and Cream yarn at Walmart and used a 5.5mm crochet hook.

    My daughter’s friend asked me to check this out so I will try it!! I have been crocheting since I was a kid. My grandma taught me to crochet and knit. Mom did too!! I make dish cloths, hot pads, placemats, and I made up hot mats which are bigger than hot pads, basically double the hot pads to 13”x9” to use for larger dishes.

    Can I use acrylic yarn for the dry mop?

  • @BohoJouelSandraMBelz

    @BohoJouelSandraMBelz

    7 ай бұрын

    I think for dry mopping, acrylic would be okay, but I prefer cotton simply because if I need to mop up a spill, etc, it dries easier.

    It seems that the best thing is to measure your work against the mop you'll be using. Stop once you've reached a length that works best. ☺️ I did 19 rows, but it seems that was too many for some.

    I did 19 rows, but I think it's best to check against your mop head as you go, to see if you need an extra row or a row less. There seems to be variants in the mop head sizes, depending on the brand, etc.
