Easy Crochet Swiffer covers
Reusable, washable and durable, these crochet covers are so easy to make and a perfect project for beginners.
I purchased the Sugar and Cream yarn at Walmart and used a 5.5mm crochet hook.

I love this one better than the crochet crowd one where it's 3 separate pieces

Exactly! Use what you have☺️
I have a VERY hard time learning things, presently I can only crochet dish cloths. I could really use these, watched a couple of videos that weren't slow and easy enough for me, THANKS this was a great video and I think I can do it, thanks to you.

How much will this shrink when machine washed
My daughter’s friend asked me to check this out so I will try it!! I have been crocheting since I was a kid. My grandma taught me to crochet and knit. Mom did too!! I make dish cloths, hot pads, placemats, and I made up hot mats which are bigger than hot pads, basically double the hot pads to 13”x9” to use for larger dishes.

@@BohoJouelSandraMBelz It’s not that hard. I have made a couple sweaters that turned out nice but I really do prefer crocheting because it’s faster.
I love it I am going to make a few

Hey Sandra, Do you have any patterns for Swiffer furniture dusters? The Swiffer furniture dusters are so expensive.

You know- I thought about that. They really are. And so wasteful- they don't go very far. I don't have a pattern but my wheels are turning! I may try to come up with something!
Thank u Roll did you do

Can I use acrylic yarn for the dry mop?
@BohoJouelSandraMBelz
7 ай бұрын
I think for dry mopping, acrylic would be okay, but I prefer cotton simply because if I need to mop up a spill, etc, it dries easier.
How many skeins of yarn did you use?

It seems that the best thing is to measure your work against the mop you'll be using. Stop once you've reached a length that works best. ☺️ I did 19 rows, but it seems that was too many for some.
How many rows did you actually do?
@BohoJouelSandraMBelz
2 жыл бұрын
With the yarn and hook I used in the video 19 rows was enough

I think the best thing is to measure it to your mop probably.
How many rows
@BohoJouelSandraMBelz

I did 19 rows, but I think it's best to check against your mop head as you go, to see if you need an extra row or a row less. There seems to be variants in the mop head sizes, depending on the brand, etc.
Do u have a name for this stitch or pattern.

Not really for the pattern, but the stitches are single Crochet and double crochet. ☺️
Reusable is better for the environment. And cotton breaks down to toss
