Follow along as I create three sunning images during a commercial fashion & beauty photoshoot for a hair competition. I composited two poses together to create photos where the models looked like twins in order to show off their hair cuts from two different angles. None of this would have been possible without my friend Nieves Almaraz who not only did the hair, but he created the concept too. Which included nails by his wife Kristy.

That’s amazing! What a great concept for showing the hair styles in absolutely the best light (if you will). It seems like what a great product shoot might be, in that you cast aside conventions you might usually follow in making a flattering portrait, and instead totally focused on the goal of showing off these unique hair styles. This is the most interesting video I’ve seen about studio photography yet. I hope your client placed well in the contest!
