The depression will stay there and show up again as soon as you sit alone with ur self , its a way of distraction , and a good one as long as you’re solving the problem of depression on the side , also sometimes depression is strong enough to disable people from daily activities so they need a talk and mind rearrangement first

Predrag Grujic But you also shouldn’t suppress your feelings, you got to learn to accept them and know that you are not your thoughts. Meditation helps you to make clear what your situation is like and that way you can make your way to a happier and healthier life.

Hei, I used to think like that. But lately I've been thinking more about how if I do that and withdraw myself from everyone else they just keep on movin' maybe slow maybe fast but I stil will never be able to get that Time back so I'm making an Effort to actively seek to out correspondence with anyone and anything in any way I can because it truly will brings you down to earth and after a While makes you realize nothing you can say or do, embarrassing or weird to you as it may seem will suck you off of the face off this earth. It's you and no one else that owns that spot that you're standing, that space that you're sitting.

Just my opinion of course but do you truly like being alone or are you just saying that because you feel like you bother people when you hang out with them? If I were you I'd grow just a tad bit of a "selfish" personality. Look out for your own happiness and do what you want. If people don't like you then too bad. Sure you may have to cut some people out of your life but think of the new amazing friends that could replace them.

Meditation is about excepting bad thoughts and knowing that you are not your thoughts, they are just thoughts. When you learn to accept It by looking at It from a second perspective and then letting It go, you create more headspace which makes your situation more visible which helps you to clearly see what you need to improve and that way you work your way to happiness. So It is not about inserting a positive feeling and suppressing the other emotions because the bad feelings won’t go away. When you have holiday for example after a view long stressful months and you have been suppressing your emotions with work and stress the empty or negative thoughts will appear again when you have nothing to push away your bad thoughts.

I listen to guided meditations to fall asleep each night. I don't work at really *doing* them. I just turn them on and drift off to sleep. I've been doing that for over a year now and I can honestly say my internal dialogue has started to change. It's been a really strange and wonderful experience. (Not saying that it happens without any work, but it doesn't take as much active concentration as I thought it would.) Also, if you're like me and you have trouble with gratitude statements, I like to write down things I love/enjoy. So "I love the way sunlight looks when it's shining through the leaves" instead of "I'm grateful for sunlight." Just a thought. 😊 I'd highly recommend listening to Brene Brown's talks!

I love the Flow State i experience it very often, its really like i'm possessed and the stuff i do makes me more of a believer... i originally look at it as some natural survival aspect i was born with, bringing out my best abilities at the most unexpected time, whether it be in artistry, music appreciation, dance, chemistry, & sometimes along with meditation makes me feel like i'm one with the universe!

Improvement Pill--- Another great video! I love every one of them, these are great steps to take, I've always had negative thinking like I'm not good enough, or I think people are looking at me like I'm stupid or ugly and it started dominating my life, but its getting better , I've started getting different positive friends and influences and having healthy habits, I gave my life to Jesus so I also do a lot of prayer and meditation, thanks for the video bud😉👍

i made a lot of mistakes in my life, i had depression & anxiety and i also wanted to commit suicide at some time in life. but in the end i realized that suicide is not an option. i have to keep fighting for what i want and not give up on life. i went to a psychiatrist and he told me that the problems i have are noting to what the rest of the world is facing. he told my to take responsibility for myself and my actions and never give up. i overcame all my fears like fear of failure and rejection and i started doing thing i love like cooking and making music and playing outdoor sports, and after 1 year i feel very different from what i was before. I have found purpose in life again, and thanks to you @improvementpill this video will hopefully help so many other like me find their purpose and motivation in life. Never lose hope, never give up, i failed my exams 3 times before passing it eventually... :)

I really needed this video. I live alone, far from friends and family for the past 3 years. The pandemic and lockdowns got me in a negative headspace. I had no one to vent to. I caught up with a close friend and she interrupted me by asking "are you happy?". I wanted to say "sometimes", but deep down, I truly wasn't. She noticed how I complained and ranted in most discussions and claimed I wasn't always like this. That's when I knew things were bad. I had no idea how to start being happy until I saw this video. I'm looking forward to putting these steps into practice.

I have had issues with being happy for quite a long time. The suggestion I heard a lot from people to try to fix this was get a hobby that I like and spend my free time doing that; basically the third habit you listed here. The only "hobby" I was ever able to enjoy much, though, was video games. Out of all the games I played, one was my favourite: Dark Souls. And one boss in particular was always my favourite to face: Knight Artorias. I hadn't ever really known why he was my favourite fight. I always assumed that it was because he was always such a challenge, but looking back on it after hearing what you said, it seems like it was probably a flow state that made it so much fun for me. Little story aside, I would just like to thank you for making videos like this. I have been trying to figure out all of the odd things about myself for many years but wasn't able to learn why I did things or how to make my situation better. Stuff like this is really helpful for someone like me, as I am sure you are aware of from all the other appreciative commenters one can find under these videos. Needless to say, you have earned another subscriber.

Making fun of things usually used for me Just like yesterday I hit a motorcycle because he crossing a one way street without any warning, my motorcycle got broken and my father scold me really hard Well what did I just do I just makes fun of it to myself like how about I didn't had a single scratch despite how hard I just fell or the first thing that I was thinking that time when I just see my motorcycle. It works well for me, sometimes you can always have fun with a little misfortune you see even though I need to pay for my own motorcycle repairing fees, I can from now using bus or walking to my destination which I rarely do.

I had a big depression within the covid lockdowns and always thought I was introvert, but with all that time spending alone I felt incredibly sad. Then I met a girl I really really liked. It gave me something to look forward to. I saw her nearly every day and that spark of light got me out of my depression, and for everyone who has not experienced it: it’s the happiest and best feeling I’ve ever had…
