How To Create a Route | SimBrief-Full Tutorial | MSFS2020

Ойындар

This is how I create a route for my flights. It's super easy and simple, and hopefully useful. If you like me to make more tutorials on any topics, please leave a comment below and tell me what you need.

Thanks for explaining🙏🏼...Some airports don’t have Arrival waypoints or Departure waypoints in this case can we Add waypoints from Simbrief ? Just to make it closer to realistic 🛫

If the airport doesn't have a designated arrival or departure, then in real life ATC will vector you to the destination, if there is no ATC we use heading and vector ourselves.

it would be nice if you can do a step by step tutorial for A320, eg, importing the route into the airbus wot cheats you need setting up MCDU . i haven't seen a tutorial that's do a step by step. i'm loveing your tutorials

If you mean to enter the route manually by hand in MCDU, nobody does that anymore, even real companies have an upload system for the routes. However, I guess I may do the tutorial on how to enter the route manually. ATM I'm working on the PMDG B737-700 tutorial videos, and also on a video on how I create routes from beginning to end for my own flights, maybe you will find that useful too, but after that, I will make a video on how to enter the route by hand too.

@@FlyOverGames not manually as a new flight simmer a step by step guide like when you do your flights, plan the route how to get it in to mcdu wot charts you need and so on

@@freddie1960100 Yes sure, actually my next video is going to be something like that, without entering in the FMC/MCDU, that part is going to be in aircraft tutorial, but everything else, from route planing, to finding charts, choosing what departure/arrival and approach procedure will use....that is going to be in the next video that I plan to release this days...very soon.

So, when I follow my route on SimBreif and try to put in the MCDU, some Airways or STARS aren't there. Is this because of me running the old AIRAC cycle?

SIDs and STARs are never copied in the FMC/MCDU, you must enter them manually because they are subject to change depending on the online ATC, Weather, etc... Regarding the airways, some MCDU/FMC will not show airways in the format M725 or Y67, but rather as many waypoints that are part of that airway. If you watched any of my videos with route LDSP-LDZA, the route is SIRMI M725 RUDIK, but FMC will say SIRMI MONID RUDIK because MONID is part of the M725 airway.

@@FlyOverGames Thanks for the reply. Yes, I know I have to put them in manually. I put them in manually and sometimes it just doesn't exist. I have asked someone else and they said I should upgrade my AIRAC cycle in Simbrief but I cant really upgrade it since I have no membership.

@@RafayM. Yea unfortunately the only way to upgrade your nav database in Simbrief and also in MSFS is trough membership. But still, if simbrief have old database, you can use it without problems, just convert old names of SID n STAR to a new name, usually, the only difference is in the number, for example, SIRMI7D was before SIRMI6D and before SIRMI4D etc....so whatever Simbrief offer you, just take the most similar in the airplane. I strongly recommend using Little Nav Map for flight planning too, because it will show you on the map exactly where certain SID and STAR are going, so you can choose closest within your plight plan.
