Thank you for taking the time to help us. I have so many great clothes, large through xxl ready to sell, but feel like I don’t know the ropes well enough to get started. Especially confused about when you do a live show, how you have to remove items from your closet to do that, then take all the time to put them back in if they don’t sell? Also confused about how bundles work. How do I keep track of that so I don’t do anything wrong at shipping time?. Does Posh ark ever offer the customer a chance to connect with a human if you need some guidance? I do think their site could be made a bit more intuitive and user friendly. Thanks for your thoughts!

Immediate followers ... are mark-up sellers. eg: If you post a dress for $5, they buy it and mark it up to $9. They are essentially looking for a supply stream for their Poshmark shop. Same on all sites, like Vinted.

Potentially that is why they are following. Some sellers use bots to auto follow a certain number of new accounts per day as well!

When I go to my closet and I go to my profile to upload a picture even on my backboard I can't upload any pictures. My profile backboard of my profile won't allow me to upload any pictures to them. You have a solution to this?

Thanks for watching! I’m not sure why it’s not working for you! It might be that you need a certain file type of photo (ie jpg) or a certain size. You might have good luck reaching out to poshmark support to see if they can solve your issue!

Thank you sooo much for the information. You made is so easy to navigate and I am ready to try and list my first 5 items tonight. Does Posh want us to have a Paypal account? Also are we capped when first on the site to only list 5 items or can we list as many as we have? Looking forward to making some fun money.

You don’t have to have a PayPal account and you’re not limited to 5 items, as far as I know.

I’m new to the Poshmark community and I have added my bank card information and they deducted $300 out of my account and it seems as if I’m getting the run around. Btw the option to receive payments were a bank card and PayPal only. Can you please enlighten me

Hello - I just found this video and made notes as I watched it. I have been an Ebay seller for 23 years, but have been wondering if it would be worth my time to expand to Poshmark. I've always had the impression that it was high end clothing, but it looks like there are other categories. Would you say it's mostly high end in all categories? Also it is OK to use a nickname when setting up an account, as long as I use my given name on the banking info? I'm trying to get prepared before I actually sign up. I wouldn’t say it’s high end in all categories! I would say that people look for all sorts of items on Poshmark at every price point. And yes, you can create a username for Poshmark (ours is thefiresellers) and then put in your legal info for banking

You can link your bank account on the app under “my balance”. You are able to access the money to transfer to your bank once the item is received and rated by the buyer

Do I have to verify my account I order to get paid ? I have a buyer but he got a prompt that says my account is unable to receive payments. Why is this?

Yes, once you make a certain amount in sales ($600 in gross sales) you need to verify your identity to poshmark. You upload the information on the app!

That doesn’t sound legit to me! You get paid when a sale is delivered to the buyer and they accept the sale. You can add your bank account information under “my balance”-> redeemable. You can add all the information in the app or on the Poshmark website. You do not need to email anyone.

That is a scam. Do not give them your card number. All sales and messages will go through the app.

Heyy I have a question! Sooo when I sell my first item. Someone who wants to buy from me told me that they tried to send a payment but it got declined. I’m wondering is this a scam or is there something really wrong on my end?

Most likely a scam! If they are truly having a problem with their payment, they need to contact Poshmark support. A common scam however is to comment on your listing saying payment is declined with their email asking you to contact them that way.

There isn’t a definite way to tell but if they ask you to text or email them, that’s a red flag that they are a scammer. Otherwise, if someone buys your item using the regular poshmark process, you can assume that they are not going to scam you.

That is a scam! Who is wanting apple gift cards? You don’t need to deposit anything to create an account or make sales on Poshmark

Did poshmark require you to send them a picture of a $200-500 gift card to start receiving payment? I think I’m being scammed.

I just got scammed😢!!! I just send $200 using Zelle… they asked me to send $200 to start receiving payments and I send them the money! I am so disappointed and discouraged😏😡! I worked so hard putting some items in my closet and was super excited to start selling but now I just want to give up! 😢

Hell no to much work …. Just want to LIST AND SELL THATS IT
