How To Create A FIRE BREATHING Effect | After Effects Tutorial

In this VFX tutorial we will learn how to create a Fire Breath effect inspired by The Extremists in Iron Man 3, in Adobe After Effects. This tutorial will focus on compositing the fire, and also creating the subsurface skin glow. We will be using ActionVFX’s Flamethrower asset collection to do the effects.

There should be a Mocha AE version included with the last few versions of After Effects.

@@ActionVFXofficial There's a particular VFX tutorial that I've been searching for years. Can you guys please help me out with this? It's a realistic surface vein growth effect. So not subsurface, but on the surface where the veins look kinda embossed on the surface of the skin. And I think they use a vein or a electric bolt VFX element and then apply it on the surface of the skin. Please help me out, it would mean the world to me Also,

Can someone please help, when I do a mask on one cheek my video disappears leaving on the masked area exposed and I can’t do a second mask on the other side. 😭

Nice tutorial but a quick tip, no beginner on earth would use this as their first entry into After Effects. Talk to people who already know how the program works and this tutorial could have been 12min shorter, like when you talk about fading the two fire clips together, we know you're making 2 keyframes for opacity. You don't need to explain that or how pre-comps work.
