In this VFX tutorial, we are going to learn how to do a smoke trail effect inspired by the Marvel movie Morbius in Adobe After Effects.
We will cover how to track in Mocha for AE, creating smoke trail, and adding color to that smoke trail.

lol why is everything smoking in this move?! I could maybe understand why the effect is used while he is flying (even though the smoke is often the color of his clothes, like they are disintegrating lol) but there's so many time in this movie when the entire room is just randomly disintegrating and smoking all over the place. Like the pictures on the wall, the train, the floor, other people walking around just start becoming particle effects for no reason lol.
Nice tutorial! Jared Leto is such a versatile and unique actor that I'm always excited to see what he does next. Every role he takes on is very different from each other.
