Hard work. A disciplined mind. And also tremendous obsession over what you are doing plus a large amount of accountability will help you to work very hard. Creating a new market where the metrics that matter most are not the ones your competition focuses on is vital to creating a product outside of your competition's space. A good book for this is Blue Ocean strategy. Or you can create a brand new product that is 10x better in the metrics of other products that create the same result. Zero to one is a great book if you want to utilize this strategy. Getting a great team: books about leadership and psychology are must reads. Also the practice of appreciative inquiry with your team is needed. You have to get your team to have skin in the game as well, specially in the beginning. Lastly, focus on having a great customer experience, the best source of marketing is word of mouth.

In the 1980's, the Beta video format was technically better than VHS. Yet VHS dominated the video tape market back then. So, consumers don't always gravitate to technically better products. It's often aggressive marketing that caused them to do so. Your product just have to be good enough.

basically there is market selling that gets people talking aka thinking about a product. then there is product recognition by word of mouth. the choice then becomes spend so they think of you or spend so they find you. choose one wisely... also tesla does a ton of marketing. elon just harnesses social media without relying on conventual advertisement methods.

He left out the part where you have to first grow your money through investments and savings so you can cover the necessary start-up costs. And then after that (it's only the beginning) take action quickly but also know what you're doing too. It's funny that I just came from watching a video with Mark Cuban and he kept on emphasizing the importance of doing your research on the industry you are trying to get into and if you don't know as much or more about your customers as your competition does you're SOL.

The Fed authorizes money to be printed, the smaller banks borrow the currency in order to lend it to their customers and the customers pay it back with interest and the banks and credit unions pay it back to the Fed (federal reserve) with interest. Only the banks and the Fed profit off of debt which comes from money printing. The rest of us are just consumers but only if we barrow money.

"Think and grow rich" by Napoleon Hill is a MUST read if you're thinking about starting a company and being successful in general. Without reading that book you're pretty much guaranteed to fail. Trust me, it is THAT amazing. Lots of practical things you can start doing now to guarantee success.
