How To Cover/Minimize Redness WITHOUT Makeup *Rosacea & Acne*

Ойын-сауық

Hey guys! This is a video I have been wanting to do for a while. I am demoing 3 products that are targeted to minimize redness; without wearing makeup. This is perfect for men, young girls, early morning school drop off, trips to the gym etc...
Products used:
Colorescience All Calm (on sale right now at this site) go.magik.ly/ml/egv0/
Fitglow Redness Rescue go.magik.ly/ml/egv2/
Dr Jar Cicapair (personal fave & they have a MINI to try) go.magik.ly/ml/egv3/
*Links used are affiliate. I was not suggested or asked to make this video by Colorescience. I was sent this product last year and included it in this video on my own bc I felt like it fit in with this subject area. My personal fave was purchased by moi; like 99.9% of the stuff I mention.

I'm a guy. The idea of me wearing makeup makes me feel uncomfortable. Not the idea that it's feminine (guys have feminine sides too, so that wouldn't bother me) it's the feeling of the makeup. I don't like when my face feels dirty/oily.

All a guy needs is a concealer and a finger. tap tap tap on the spot you want to hide. Look for a shade darker than the one that comes closer to your skin tone.

@@monke6527 you can get non-evasive surgery to remove it if it affects u a lot psychologically. I have a couple of friends who were somewhat introverted because of similar growths. Then one decided to have it removed and they seemed tonnes happier and more confident, started approaching people to talk to them, they kept eye contact now too. Then the other friend saw the positive change and decided to have theirs removed too. Same story. was so heart warming to see such a drastic change in their demeanor over such a small thing. On the flip side yes it's unfortunate that we live in a judgmental society where even the smallest thing attracts scrutiny or even ridicule. So why should WE remove something from OUR bodies because of those people? That is of course a reason for you to weight the pros and cons for. It's just an option. All the best from the UK regardless : ]

For men, I'd suggest dabbing on small amounts of a powder foundation over the affected area with a powder brush. Less is more! And it doesn't look like you''re wearing makeup. Forget concealer and liquid foundation for this. The hardest thing is finding the perfect color that matches your skin. I highly recommend artdeco pure minerals hydra powder foundation. It really works!

mrridikilis I am a girl but I didn’t want to wear a lot of make up when I was in primary school so I just wore powder foundation or a bit of baby powder and it was really good ( my skin was the WORST at that point in my life) I would recommend putting a good amount of moisturiser and or sun cream before the powder so it doesn’t look powdery

Yes these products are just moisturizers; not Makeup up all! The Colorscience all in one could be used as a makeup primer but it isn’t Makeup; it is the most makeup like but still not Makeup. You would be totally safe trying any of them! I really think you would be pleased with the results since you are a male.

Wonderful video. Very helpful. I'm a man and I have had psoriasis on my face and scalp since I was 14 (im 44 now) and even though I have confidence talking to people sometimes it can get me down and I will try to avoid people on those occasions. I mean those days are few and far between but it still depresses me. I hope I can get that Fitglow one here in the UK but at least you have shown me a simple guide to follow. I'm fascinated how the colour green can conceal redness! It's genius to me lol. It's so insane that women wear makeup, and often lots of it, every day. I suppose their parents, television/media, and society tell them that it's normal and expected and then they get addicted to the "masking" and "improving" aspects. I wonder how many women know the history of oppressive behind makeup... Apparently it's alive and well today.

Good info, but the male female info is wrong and biased. It ruins the rest of the video. Plenty of women dont wear makeup. Plenty of men are into skincare (as everyone should be at least a little). Plenty of men wear makeup. And male and female aren’t the only genders anyway, just a whole weird commentary. Just the info and product reviews would’ve been so much better.

That’s a fair take. However, this video is almost 3 years old at this point so the world has changed a bit and we have learned/grown of things that we didn’t all know back then. At least I can say that I have grown in 3 years. Another main focus of this video was me speaking directly to men that had messaged or commented on my previous rosacea videos wanting help since they couldn’t cover their rosacea like women typically can. Not all men (like women) feel comfortable wearing traditional makeup so I was trying to find something inclusive to the man that feels that way. A lot of my talking points were directed to them. I’m sorry if you didn’t feel included and that is never my intent (one reason I never address the start of my videos saying hey ladies). I know if I made this video today, that things would be different. Imagine capturing every word you said years ago, I’m sure there are things you would change or correct ❤️
