Your captions say THUG test instead of TUG test! But that is kind of funny because when you are away from your truck and come back you actually should do a "THUG" test to make sure no one tried to pull your pin or do any mischief to your truck! Ha ha. Now I will remember that and call it a "THUG" test when I check out my tractor-trailer. Funny.

Tashanie Bailey yes they are color coded. The red line is the air line for the trailer's emergency brake. The green line is the electrical line. The blue line is the air line for the trailer's service brake.

Im reading the manual as am Im watching this.. when you back up to raise the trailer and the 5th wheel is faced down aren't you supposed to attach the lines before completely backing up to couple?

Nice, so the reason for me not to attach the hose before the shank closes around the kingpin is because I would have to do a tug test. If you tug test and it wasn’t close right and the tractor pulls away from your trailer you could burst you hoses

The shank is on the kingpin not on the 5th wheel! And the locking jaws are what's on the 5th wheel. Your supposed to get the locking jaws around the shank of the kingpin! I think you should remake this video because your not teaching it the right way. It still worked the way you did it but it's not the safest and you don't know your parts of the kingpin and shank and locking jaws.

That is wrong process and you made danger action. Because your tractor too far from trailer at uncoupling time. Next time please make and distribute correct information to people
