This was hands down the best tutorial to teach someone how to corn row. A lot of people fail to explain how to actually add/grab in the hair when moving down. I realized, my issue is I was grabbing with the middle finger and not the index. So my little song was index, INDEX, index lmao. Can't wait to watch more of you videos! Thank you for making this!

I’m a father that occasionally combs my little girl’s hair. She’s 4 and into braids now and I figured I’d look this up like everything else I want to know. Thanks and I’ll be saving this vid to use when I take a shot at it!

Girrrrrl!! I cannot thank you enough. I have tried so many times to learn how to French braid and make cornrows. I can install individual braids and twists but never could cornrow until now. I kept repeating the little rhyme while I was attempting to braid and I finally got it. Seems like a small accomplishment but black girls that can’t braid know exactly how I’m feeling😉. This video is the first video I’ve seen that actually talks about finger placement when it comes to cornrows and I’ve seen lots of different videos because I’m used to overhand braiding and really want to get comfortable with underhand braiding but it’s so hard to get my fingers comfortable and a good rhythm going but this video has been amazingly helpful! Thank you so much to the person who made this video!!

Your description -- "three finger grip, go under with the pointer and grab more hair" has been the key to finally getting the trick... Now I can finally say I know the " method ". All other videos are just showing you fingers "running around and all over the place, with no clear description of the process ... Thank you

Thank you so much I have always wanted to lean how to braid and after many videos I finally found this one and I now know how to braid.

Found this on the tv and ran to the phone to say I finally learned how to braid using this video after wanting to learn since childhood. So excited to be able to do hair but also be able to braid my future kids hair too. Thank you!❤️

This helped me so much. I knew how to cornrow but I couldn’t do it with my fingertips on other people’s head. Teaching us the finger placement and holding technique was clutch! Thank you. I just did the cutest style on my step daughter.

This is the best tutorial for beginners and seasoned braiders who can get the idea of how to do cornrows in full detail. After I did my own head of braids, the problem I was facing is doing a clean part. And this really helped me making sure that it's neat and clean. Plus, my rhythm of using the index to grab a piece of hair rather than the middle finger sure helps me and a lot of people.
