This was the best example for starting a box braid to me. Thank you so much because I have struggled for 4 years and actually achieved knotless first. But now I got traditional too! ❤

ok so I could cry rn! I have a pixie cut with shaved sides I wanted to braid just the top but was quoted $200 for waist length braids for the patch of hair at the top of my head🤯🤯🤯 I refuse! I respect braiders and their craft but nah....I have been trying for years how to keep the braids from sliding off the scalp to no avail. I've watched hundreds of videos but yesterday I watched yours! I got a 5 min 2 for 1 crash course ! !! I learned a method that worked and how to properly tuck! I used this method flawlessly...I did my own braids last night and theycame out perfectly 🥰 exactly how I wanted and I saved over $200 THANK YOU!!! this method is the only one that worked out for me now I'm NEVER paying to get my box braids done !!!

Seriously GOD bless you! I have known how to braid most of all my life. But I could never grasp how to do extensions because Idk the technique of setting up the fake hair it’s self. First thank you for this video as others have stated I too have watched a few videos and after watching yours it kept playing before me in my mind with others I would get to the crossing of the hair but couldn’t see exactly what I was supposed to do after. You made it clear and I thank you. I just learned knotless braids and I am looking forward to mastering this style to see which braids last the longest in my daughters hair. She is going to HS so no more rubber band box braids with her natural hair 🥺
