Saving young black children that didn’t have the opportunity to learn how to do their own hair ❤️ thank you for being so thorough. The most helpful part (haha) is where you actually show us how to keep the part perfect with edge control. Many people skip over that step and I’m left wondering

Not sure why I wanted to cry when I saw the diagrams but it’s probably because I FINALLY found something so perfectly laid out 😊. As a kid who didn’t learn how to part or do my hair properly from anyone but myself this was SO HELPFUL. I’m glad I found this video bc it makes everything feel more structured and calm to do 😁👍.

As someone who has been horrible at parting hair but was tasked with the challenge of doing my mom's hair....this video helped a bunch. Especially the part about adding the shine n jam and then going through the part again. Watched the video a few minutes before I got started and her hair turned out beautiful. I was amazed myself lol
She has a whole grid! Respect...thanks sis!
Not only is this tutorial *MAD* helpful, youtuber’s voices: pitch, tone, cadence all that is a big turn on or turn off for me when it comes to subscribing and watching more of their content. Needless to say you’re wonderful girl and I appreciate this thorough tutorial bc parting really ain’t as easy as it looks.

Do you think this parts a great for medium sized box braids? About to do my own her next week & now I am just looking for more tips
Thank you so much for this. I learned (like a lot of us!) how to braid during the ‘rona 😷. Since I’m immunocompromised I still can’t go to the salon. I used your quadrant technique and SIS. 😍😍😍😍😍 *cue swivel and hair flip* my braids look so so good! Thank you. The internet can be really mean and draining BUT I love how it connects black girls all over the world. It’s like we have big and little sisters teaching and caring for each other out here. Like a big, gentle Diaspora Hug. I think it makes the ancestors proud. So thank you for sharing your wisdom with me. 🥰🥰🥰
You are a true perfectionist. This is the most thorough and systematic approach to parting and braiding. And it is very necessary to have this type of breakdown. You did an outstanding tutorial.
Great video! This was very well explained! A little tip I use when parting, I mix Jam, Murrays and black castor oil together.. Works great with kinky, dry or short hair for extra shine and growth!

Im one of those people who always get asked if i can do someones hair but can only do my own but im finally trying to learn so i can have clients, and i can tell this channel will help a lot!!
IM A 20 year old white woman who’s being partially praticing for 3-4 years on braiding for my niece who is 7 and mixed. I’ve always had kind of crappy parting usually alright but not for bock braids and this video helped so much! I’m practicing for the first time in over a year and it’s the best it’s ever gone! Subscribed tysm! I mentioned I’m a white woman because most white women could never do it like a colored woman. They do it for not only their culture but for there hair too :) too keep it healthy and most pedipalp think it’s stupid that I try but I love her and she only has me left to try in incorporate her culture into her life so I’m trying my best. Tysm for the help!

first of all this video is SO DETAILED I went ahead and subscribed to her channel..... the pictures definitely helped me i took pictures of them to have when I do hair... I needed a technique to stick to and this is it. I do my hair or family's hair from time to time but I'm taking it more serious now because the prices yall charge when I can do it myself is getting crazy ash .. She def is a good teacher when it comes to these tutorials.
This is by far the most detailed with little effort video I’ve ever seen, you definitely helped me out

i love this video so much. thank you. you are an angel. seriously you’re amazing. this is all i’ve every wanted. a detailed video. every other person says “so just do this and that and this and then boom you’re done” LIKE GIRL WHAT? but you have helped me a ton. thank you
Man this was so detailed. I was going off another youtuber's tutorial, but I love yours even more so. This will be my go to. That will cut so much time for me. Love to see a step by step for your feed in method, and separating the hair. Thanks so much for sharing. If you already have a video, please share in a comment, but I will be looking through.
