There is a PhD thesis waiting to be done on the psychological appeal of "anonymous" online comments. I'm sure people who have little sense of agency in life find it an enjoyable outlet to express pedantic opinions about all kinds of things....usually things tangential to the point of the video/article itself. A moment's superior feeling seems worth hurting someone's feelings.

I have to totally agree with what you said. I took early retirement from the gov't twice and I have seen this behavior before. Some people want to feel superior to others for a minor slip-up to hold the other person down. I've done transcription for psychiatrists with medication lists so I know how important proofreading is to accuracy. Some just have to be nasty to bring others down so they can feel superior. Bottom line, that's why they do it !

Those look perfect Amy! I’m definitely going to try that method. I love the plastic spatula you are using also. The utensil used in cooking eggs plays a big role as well. Great job 👍🏽😊
The technique Amy demonstrates here is hands down best imo. Been using this method for many years, decades, frankly. She accurately reports the misstep of adding any liquid, in her case salsa, to beaten eggs. She is using a fork to incorporate whites and yolks, many prefer whisk, but heed her advice not to add any other liquid. My two cents counsel on the matter is to use organic eggs. Organic eggs will up the consecrated essence of flavor. Tasty.
For all those learning to cook in quarantine here's a hidden gem lol add a splash of milk to your eggs just enough to lighten the color and they become amazingly fluffy.

Can you add milk to them? What does that do?
I've been cooking my scrambled eggs like that since 1983, but I've never been able to describe it as well as you. Thanks! I think I'll have some for dinner. 😊
I googled how to scramble eggs because I’m a terrible cook and I found this video. I followed her instructions exactly and was shocked to find that I had made perfectly scrambled eggs for the first time ever! I added some Tony Chachere and even my three year old loved them. Great job, Amy! It’s no easy task to teach me how to cook anything 👍🏻
I used to wonder how my favorite restaurant's scrambled eggs were so much fluffier than mine. Now I know the secret!

I also add milk to my eggs. I start cooking on high then as they start to get firm lower heat to medium. Stir and cook until almost done then I take off the burner and put on a tight fitting lid. Let set until eggs are completely cooked. Your eggs will have really fluffed up a lot.

I was skeptical but, after following your instructions, my scrambled eggs were 100% better. Thanks!!

fuerst metternich Fluffy princess? Are you saying she's fluffy like the eggs she made? I think the salsa she used in this video is a Wegmans house brand. Wegmans is a regional supermarket chain located on the East Coast of the U.S. Any salsa that has fire roasted tomatoes will usually work well with these eggs.
