When I pick sweet corn from the garden it is at the peak of perfection. No more than 5 minutes in a pot of boiling water and then you have the best corn on the cob. 15 to 20 minutes turns the corn starchy.

Maybe parsley
Yeah I've been doing this for years learned it from my roommate in college
My mom has been doing this for years and puts a little vanilla extract 😊
I add sugar too
I usually don't put the corn in the water to boil, it makes it soft and mushy. I use a steaming rack and keep the corn out of the water but still cook it steamed its good and less wet.
Omg trying this right now❤ thank you😊

The directions on pkg say boil 3-5 minutes. I'm curious as to why you cook it 15-20minutes? It doesn't make it soggy? I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. And do I double everything to make 8 ears or just add 1/2 extra? i.e... 3 cups water 1 1/2 cups milk 1 1/2 stick butter

Good Morning Renee this is the best question in the world? And the reason why I say that I have boil corn for 3 to 5 minutes and that’s now how I was grown up on corn to me it’s still too tough after 3 to 5 minutes my grandmother boiled corn at every family Reunion and she would let it boil for 15 to 20 minutes and it would be absolutely tender and Delicious not mushy at all, you’re absolutely going to love this recipe. You can even keep the fire on low to keep it warm, but please boil your corn for more than 3 to 5 minutes unless you like a tough kernel on your corn 🌽 thank you for your awesome support and great questions. Have an amazing day and thank you again.👍💕

I WOULD DO THAT RECIPE WITHOUT THE WATER AND I WOULD ADD SALT TO THE MILK AND PEPPER and three sticks of butter or two
Another way is to boil it
Weird to take corn out of its natural packaging and then repackage it.
