This African curry dish with bananas has a unique curry flavor and a creamy coconut sauce. Watch how to make this great dish!
Ingredients:
2 pounds large raw shrimp peeled and deviened
1 medium onion, diced small
2 garlic cloves, minced fine
2 tablespoons light olive oil or coconut oil
1 tablespoon curry powder (madras is my favorite blend)
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1-2 teaspoons kosher or sea salt
1 cup coconut cream
2 cups diced, peeled potatoes
1 cup water mixed with 2 tablespoons lemon juice
2-4 bananas, peeled and sliced
