2 Bunch asparagus
5 quarts water with 1/2 cup salt for blanched asparagus
2 TBSP olive oil + 3/4 TBSP butter, 2 garlic cloves, squeeze of lemon for sauteed asparagus
Olive oil + salt and pepper for grilled asparagus

    I needed to know how too cook asparagus ASAP and just learned that one of my favorite Dudes already made one from 3 years ago! I sauteed them but cut them in half and cooked them longer so they kinda have the blackened look to it.

    I love a variation of #3. I roast mine in the oven because here in the upper midwest, it is t always practical to grill(charcoal) in the winter.

    Very easy very good! There's nothing like the combination of extra virgin olive oil and real butter with that splash of lemon juice at the end to vegetables, poultry, and fish. Your wondering why I left out garlic? I'm allergic to garlic.

    allaudler hey thanks for the comment, Baking is also great! I would just put olive oil, salt and pepper, mix them well with the seasoning and than bake at 425 for 7-8 mins or so.

    This is my 1st time to see how asparagus looks in their environment and not in the grocery store. I didn't even know you can just eat it without cooking it. I'm learning to cook via KZread.     mytube92369 yeah they vary a lot as it’s a short season and then they’re coming from elsewhere in the world and aren’t as good. You could always blanch and not shock with ice water, guess that would be boiled asparagus... grilled is my favorite!

    I give it a light toss in olive oil with minced garlic and salt, then grill it. When i take it off the grill i squeeze lemon, then crack some pepper on them. Im gonna try it by doing muddled chili flakes in the oil and sprinkle with lemon pepper next time.

    Good ways to cook asparagus. And the onion trick can be used while making crepe by rubbing the pan with it every time and also it keeps the pan on even heat for all the crepes you cook . It’s an old trick that is used in India

    Love the onion on the grill trick, never heard of that. I always boil my asparagus too long, now I see why, only need to do it for a tiny amount of time. I thought there was too much oil in the sautéed asparagus; then you put butter in it too! Whew, way too much fat. But I do agree, grilled is the best.

    Bruh I’m not even a fan of asparagus or vegetables period… but I’ve been craving it. I’m a dude btw so no hormones goin on here. I just haven’t been able to get food for a few days lol but the time has come and I wanna eat everything so.. might as well try cooking asparagus

    carlos arevalo no excuses for not making content! Actually while filming this my distal radius was shattered into 4 pieces and many of the ligaments in my wrist completely severed....all better now and wrist is reinforced with titanium.
