How to Convert your UAE (or Non UK) Driving License to UK Driving License?

We are happy to inform you that we have found some ways new UK residents can get British Driving license. Since we had our valid UAE driving license we had one option of exchanging it for UK License. The process is quite straight forward but there were not much videos that could guide us step by step to achieve it. We have tried to explain the process as detailed as possible but within shortest time possible and to the best of my knowledge. However, if you have any confusion, correction, suggestion or criticism please do let us know, we would try our best to respond. Please share the video to your friend and family who might be benefited from the video.
Lastly, please be aware of the fact that international rules are ever evolving, so please visit official government websites for the latest info. I personally have found all the British government websites very detailed, regularly updated and unambiguous.

Hi Brother, How do I get the 'to whom it may concern - data license verification' certification if I am not a UAE resident anymore. I managed to pay the 100 dhms fee but did not receive the certificate by email. Nor could I download it. And now the app doesnt let me in. The UAE pass keeps hanging. Appreciate your advise.
My question is data verification latter have expiry date ?

Thank you very much bro for this video, however I want to add that to obtain the document from MOI UAE, you need both Ur liscence number and certificate number before u will be able to do that. There's another document called driving certificate and u need it alongside Ur driver's license

Thank you for this video. How will you get back your UAE license in case you return to the UAE? Will RTA exchange your UK license back to UAE one if you need to drive in the Emirates?

UK license if accepted so you can drive with that. No RTA has record about this submission as this is a treaty right or else why will UK keep the UAE license.
instead of BRP, can I use my passport as proof of identity.?

They will only return your BRP . The UK license will be given to you in exchange of keeping the UAE license.
I fill that form likewise but they return
If I submit my UAE driving license. ..they will return or not ?
Nice Video. is it possible to provide EEC card as proof of identity if you don't have BRP?

You will have to contact MOI directly . The system online wont allow you to apply without a valid EID.

That letter which i get from MOI that i get in soft form. So copy of that letter will work?

After 6 months only we can apply, right? But my UAE license will get expire, will that be an issue?

If it expires , you can renew your license and then apply. Alternatively try applying before it expires and see if they grant you the converted license. Thanks you

Please hell me out with the following 1: I don't have hard copy only have soft copy 2: license is valid till 2025 3: have original certificate of driving test 4: Emirates ID expired in 2018 5: working in UK for last 4 and half years So now tell me whether I can apply for conversion of driving licence If not than can you give me some suggestions

Worth contacting the UAE Driving authority. There is no other short cut unfortunately
All My friend but this gye is Asking 9 times Extra money All My friends beaware of this gye who made a video I recommend never contact him for data verification letter he is thuging the Innocent people & taking the advantage of situation this certificate costs only 100Aed but this guy charging 1000 Aed.
