Always cool to see you convert human minis. I mean obviously the orks are cool as well, but human 28mm minis are so small, I love to see the fine work.

how to conver female space marines: option 1 use a "female" head. option 2 use a helmet and just say, its a female

This is exactly what I'm doing! The sergeant gets a masked head from a female Stormcast, and all the rest are wearing their helmets.

I need a source on those Assault Cannon arms. If I had a box of those right arms, and of some Kataphron Hydraulic Claw left arms, I'd die happy.

Those specific ones are from the Dark Angel Deathwing Terminators. They have a much more organic pose than normal terminator ones.

@@kitbosh good one, terminators and organic poses! Try doing the standard terminator pose for 10 minutes and tell me how natural that feels. Jokes aside, I too like the assault cannons from the death wing termis.

Idk wouldn't of added the mid you made them a bit long for their proportions.

Never liked the idea of female space marines

I would say realistically you should only change the head to make a space marine female, because armor works the same and power armor is usually not exactly formfitting

Have you done an IG build of a supreme commander? Lord Castellan Creed is the only one I see and, I would totally use his stat box for rules but, I would like to see some variation in a model choice. Maybe one with some cybernetics or commanding a Baneblade. A female supreme commander, etc. Thoughts?

I think I'd go for a version of an Anime pretty boy there. You want to keep elements, like long legs, robe bits, and leather tight fitting clothing. I might have a new conversion project after the tangodancing Sister.

That's a "primaris psyker" which is just the Guard's term for high-level psyker. Nothing to do with Astartes

@@cthuludreams1 this, it always irritates me, when people get the lore wrong and are smug about it. It's obvious, that the BSF egg head isn't a space marine, but our friend Michael here is probably new to 40k and didn't know. I can't even blame him, GW is rather terrible at giving things names.

Jesus man, just stop making every model larger. Bigger doesn't mean better, the proportions are way off, and the scale doesn't work either. Are they supposed to be like 3,5-4 meters tall or something? Come on...

The greatest arguments against female space marines is this How much variety do space marines have? The original 18 legions and successors ALSO at least 1 character per chapter Sisters of battle and silence? Less than 10 and no unique sprues to differentiate orders. Just different color pallettes. Space marines already have too much and folks are eager to butt in on the sisters of battle/silence unique designations of "women in power armor." In short the space marines don't need more development, sisters of battle/silence DESPERATELY do.

The whole arguement people make about them and if they should come back is dumb. You can always use them in Friendly games just not in offical GW stores. Same with using older models that GW stopped making. Other than that awesome job on this one. Personally I don't mind seeing them done right

That's not how geneseed works, that said, built what you want, it's a free country. Also: 40k theories might be entertaining, but I wouldn't use him as a source for 40k lore, since he's mostly doing theories. Taking everything he says as gospel is like saying Mario is a psychopath, because Madpat said so.

Or simply "The basis of Space Marines being all male makes no sense*, so I choose to ignore it", or "Cawl did it", or just "'my dudes' are ladies". *The Y chromosome is not a very stable one compared to X. Even if X was somehow impossible, that would also make male specimens impossible because they also have an X. Genetic manipulation should have a higher success rate in female subjects.
