    There is no question his work has formed the basis of the modern world. The real question is how we can all be so certain of the legitimacy of everything we do and how we respond to things in spite of the reality of 98 percent of it being conditioning. If you take a moment to consider the implications of Pavlov showing that conditioning can affect the unconscious mind we start to see how much of our reality is as unsubstantial as and the result of someone's imagination. The nightmare is ho oblivious we all are to something so obvious and worse still the way people respond to when challenged about these things or worse confronted with someone conditioned differently

    Look up Rene girard and the scapegoating mechanism. Humans are not rational at there core. This means the herd will always see something as grey until a herder comes and tells them it’s black or white. This is the defence for propaganda basically too say the crowd will never decide for itself and propaganda will always be the deciding factor. All we can decide is wether or not it will be intentional or unintentional propaganda. Look at Salem for example, a situation risen out of unintentional propaganda (one authority figure says a woman is a witch and the crowd follows). What led to women being burnt at the stake was uncontrolled herd mentality had there been intentional propaganda available at this time it could have been used to stop “witches” from being murdered by steering the crowd in a new direction. That’s how propaganda can be used for good, to protect humanity from its own irrationality.

  • @TylerWitucki

    @TylerWitucki

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@alexanderleo6809 Being in a Republic of representatives, the herd doesn't have to take individual positions but instead values the faith in the elected leaders not only to represent the people's interests but also to debate the best outcome with those other leaders of varying interests. The laws and systems in place protect people from themselves while allowing freedom from coercion, also offering transparency and trust. In this system using propaganda would more likely benefit those using it rather than those affected by it. The media and news in modern times has grown used to abusing "propaganda" for political and financial interest (democrat vs republican, making blank well-known or famous, news or information used as promotion [Infoganda], vaxx mandates vs ivermectin, negative press [Journalistic interventionism]). Regardless if propaganda can be used for good, in the wrong hands it is unethical, harmful, or worse, dangerous (which is arguably worse than any amount of good it could do). The quote "Power Corrupts And Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely" rings true for any human in any position, which is why a system of checks and balances is essential. Unfortunately, it is often bypassed, ignored, flawed, weakened, or dismantled, leading to abuse. Which is why I'm a proponent of blockchain technology using a 'trustless' system to avoid corruption and bad decision making. But my point is that corruption is as old as time and history itself. Propaganda should be avoided as it leads to a slippery slope of putting certain interests over the interests of the people, and unnecessarily and unethically misleading people in a way that is too powerful and has bad outcomes that gets normalized as an acceptable way of changing opinions. Propaganda appeals under the guise as soft social control for the greater good, but it takes this approach of a lawless system, lacking ethical boundaries and implications of the greater damage that it causes to get away with corrupt and absolute power. Humans can and do make intentional or unintentional bad decisions. It's not just flawed logical thinking, It can be emotions as simple as pride or even love that can have disastrous results as seen in HBO's Chernobyl (2019). Highly recommend watching that! Let's keep our hearts and minds open.

    They work incredibly well. One of the biggest ways is subjective trust and legitimization, and subjective biases. People listen to and follow those they trust, and those who they perceive as legitimate, often an expert in a field. For instance, many people trusted Anthony Fauci because he was promoted by Democrats and news media (CNN, MSNBC, etc) that they trust, and because he's touted as a medical expert. It doesn't matter that Fauci contradicted himself repeatedly about masks, vaccines, and lied about the efficacy of both. The propaganda worked, because it relied on subjective trust, legitimization, and used divisive biases to push people to accept his views.

    Words move the mind to different perceptions. Each word is like a note and each sentence a chord. The sound of the chords is subconsciously measured for value and is met or rejected by its advantage or disadvantage - as FELT by the SOUND of the chords. What you hear determines whether or not you will actually listen. The closer you make the chords sing like advantage, or away if avoiding the risk of disadvantage - you will have your audiences attention. The greater the advantage, or risk if disadvantage presented - the greater the attention. You have to get the chords right, or no one will listen to the message.

    A doctor is not allowed to give his/her medical opinion, just what he/she is legally allowed to tell you. If the doctor tells you what is best for your health but it goes against the medical establishment he/she could have his/her medical practitioners license revoked. Medical advice is limited to what is being allowed. This is often influenced by pharmaceutical companies who fun medical research and influence medical guidelines. So don't think that medicine cannot be captured and directed down a totalitarian path. Its up to each citizen to ask your doctor very direct questions when it comes to your health. For instance if you have something like Cancer. A doctor will only tell you how he/she is allowed to deal with the growth. Lets pretend its skin cancer. The doctor is allowed to suggest surgery but is not allowed to suggest a diet that can better facilitate the gradual treatment of the cancer through diet. Trust yourself or ask your doctor the right questions and don't like him or her avoid your questions! 'Is this treatable with diet rather than through surgery or vaccination?'

    "The action of public health officials in stressing the possibility of a plague or epidemic is effective because it appeals to the emotion of fear, and presents the possibility of preventing the spread of the epidemic or plague. Of course, the element of flight in this particular situation is not one of movement, but of a desire to get away from the danger." Edward L. Bernays. Crystallizing Public Opinion. Chapter 2.

    I don't know why but the background music was very distracting. The notes are too long and they last and last while topics change. I wish the music weren't there or it had a rhythm that matched the tempo of the speech. You may also consider increasing the volume of your voice. Seriously, why did you choose this music?

    The "playing field" is still wide open, with regard to conduct of population control and mass mind management (propaganda!). About the only thing that offers any potential harnessing of such control in society are laws relating to implied consent. The populations of Western civilization seem to prefer to be subject to manipulation by their media. If control is applied "open-and-notoriously," it is considered unacceptable, by means of duress, "fear tactics" etc.. Therefore it is done insidiously or covertly, indirectly, with techniques of media being the predominant influencing agent. One little item of note, not mentioned in all this stuff on mind control: I'm no authority, but I did do a small amount of reading, and found that there was, in fact, a fellow, very early on, who did deem a problem with doing things covertly, in regard to population control.. His name was Ivy Lee, getting his start with big ethical PR issues occurring with America's mega-powerful railroads.. Seems Ivy Lee was an advocate for the proposing and implementing of propaganda ethics.

  • @zuutlmna

    @zuutlmna

    Nowadays we have independent media guidelines, which most broadcast and book publishing media recognize and abide (to one degree or another).. But I think what Ivy Lee was concerned with was dealing with their underlying agenda.
