Let's discuss EDGES!
Let me show you a few technical tricks for controlling them.
These aren't challenging.
In fact - they are easy once you understand them.

Don’t be scared!😂😉 i m a beginner and try not to be. So i m trying things, even mixing scrapbooking and watercolors… I love not realistic things for the moment and I m enjoying trying skies, weared forests and revisiting things like The cry or stary night 😂 I m subscribing as I like the way you are patiently showing things! 🙏 Have a nice colorfull day!🎨🌸🦄🌸

Ooh, this is so cool, and I love seeing the lemon yellow in action again. It's perfect here! I'm on the last section of the frustration free watercolor course and it has been so helpful, highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to have more fun with watercolor! I'm excited to move on to the realism course next.

Quince is in the apple family, it is very hard and pretty much inedible until you cook it. There is a light fuzz on the skin. It grows on an upright, fairly tall bush, and is very hardy. Pretty sure they would have these in Israel. I have several quince trees/bushes, would love to paint them, thanks for doing this!

@@LironYan Thanks to you, I've developed an appreciation for grays and neutrals. I had a tendency to overdo the saturation (I'm still new), with lots of bright colors. Now I strike a balance, which creates more interest or impact.

Haha, I simply overpower the color that's there with the new color I'm after. It works quite well, check out these videos for more explanation on this: Longer vid - kzread.info/dash/bejne/dm2fpLZ_o9q2qaQ.html Short - kzread.infoFok8lAJmvho?si=FQNUN7S8rk-_5TCJ

Curious what you like about Turner’s yellow, which also featured in your recent fruit video. Has it surpassed Lemon Yellow as your new fave?

It’s not my top #1 or anything like that (: But it’s a nice warm yellow. It feels very different from others like New Gamboge and Indian Yellow, not sure in what way but just different 😝 But Lemon is still the most useful

I love the quince. Question: you added a color of green to the top leaf that is jarring to my eyes. Maybe because it seems too acidic and unnatural. I want to understand why this bothers me, as others seem very comfortable with it. I'm in the midst of taking your classes and now realize your teaching style is helping me fill gaps, so I can leap to the next level. So any ideas on the color clash? You are terrific.
