    I like this series. One detail I like to add is for the back control with the leg, turn your knee in. It kinda acts a bit like a fulcrum and makes it a bit harder for them to get their leg free.

    In MMA I 100% agree on using stryking from a ground control position as the first choice instead of trying to go directly for a submission. Stryking, if does not ko the opponent, makes submissions a lot easier to do because creates more openings for them. Just one thing: I do not understand why, on my opponent back, having one hook inside and one outside as shown is better than the classic 2 inside hooks (or body triangle). I do not see it in sub only tournament as a standard back control, so it should not be just because of the points that jujitsu fighters use 2 inside hooks. It would be nice to see what jujitsu experts (I am not) have to say.

    With one hook you can go for the legs easily but more importantly you can reload the back if it is not perfectly adjusted. Also, it is easier to go to full mount.
