I got this mic, I have usb a to a cable and an attachment at the end that makes it usb c so I can plug into the mic. However once plugged in the mic doesn’t show up in my inputs. I even downloaded the drivers, and my windows is up to date but still nothing. And then I tried using my Mac and used the default usb c to c cable provided and while the mic was now detected… I’m unable to select in my DAW (fl studio)

Hey there, usually our users will set their NT1s around 30db, but depending on how far you are from the mic, or how the tone of your voice, you may need to increase the gain. I can imagine the shock on your face when you find out there are far more expensive mics that DO NOT come with stands or arms, nor do they come with XLR cables. Next time, do your research before deciding so you manage your expectations.
