A great first step when learning to connect with Brigid is to do your research. Start by reading up on ancient Celtic mythology and history, explore stories related to Brigid, and get familiar with how she has been honored over the centuries. This will give you a deeper understanding of Brigid’s nature and how she can be called upon in your rituals. Brigid is a passionate and fiery goddess, so make sure you honor her with offerings that represent those qualities. Offerings such as incense, candles, honey, mead, oatmeal or breads made of grain work well for most occasions. You may also offer Brigid good fresh dairy produce, wild flowers, or fruits and vegetables from your garden as signs of appreciation and reverence.

Bridgit came to me as a practical guide for my work as a midwife . She shared every birth suite with me and no one has a track record like me after 1500 births and this practical guidance is Bridget ! and just confirms to me her practical power ! .
This was a lovely conversation and confirmation that what I'm doing with Brigid is just right. It's like you said, she's just there whether I realized it or not. Does anyone else feel like she's the Patron Saint of ADHD? 😂 With so many facets she's a great goddess for me. Talk about patience!
Love this most of the old nuns were from Ireland or their parents were. So we had a lot of Brighid. This is such a deepening experience. Thanks Jon and orlaigh

The Morrigan has been "calling me" on and off for a while. recently, i was honest with her and told her i wasn't ready ( a looooong hiatus from witchcraft in general), she agreed and lead me to a light in a distance and handed me over to Brigid to work with. She was very tall and long. next thing i knew my head on an anvil, i actually felt the energetic strike for a few days. wish me luck.
Brigid is the goddess that I love the best! I have followed the IPS channel. I have to thank you all from the IPS for sharing variety of topics about Irish Pantheon . I'm not an Irish person but I love and deeply admire the Irish culture and the Irish Pantheon!😘💚🤍🧡🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪👍☘️☘️☘️May all the Gods and Goddesses bless you always!

Thank you for this. I first encountered Brigid twenty years ago as a blacksmithing student. At the time I was new to paganism and the Internet was in its infancy, but I used what resorces I could scrape together and found mainly irish sourced information on the saint and the goddess. This has informed my practice ever since. The IPS is the only platform I have found that puts out information I can identify with where Brigid is concerned. I would add that from personal experience Brigid is changeable, depending on individual need. When my circumstances changed and I was no longer able to pursue blacksmithing, I thought our connection would be lessened. How wrong I was. Even now as a writer, I still sense her in much that I do. I will definitely be undertaking this course next as I continue to redefine my practice. Thank you.

Tráthnóna mhaith agus obair gallánta arís! I have been studying Brigid or Bríd of the forge allot lately and I will be consciously celebrating her and Imbolc tamara with some friends. Especially me being a child of Gabhann/ Blacksmith so I think it'd only right I build that connection and I did think that Bríd was/ is the mother of the other Gaelic god of the forge Goibniú and I believe that is wrong now so I think I'd contuniye me mé studies ach I would see her as grandmother type figure and maybe informs me pragmatic nature. 😀

Fire as healing wise, in ancient times wounds were cauterized, that was a major type of healing. I've seen some identify her smith craft aspect as gold smithing in particular, is there any basis to that?

Brigid was nothing but an ordinary woman, not any goddess. Sorry but time to face it. She was among the Christian saints, born in a place with faults and weakness like us all. Obviously, the truth: she's not a BIZARRE hybrid, not a very odd minestrone beyond solid reality, either she was a human or she was not... if you think anyone is wandering round now who was once a divinity, i think you need a good shake ! i also think that's extremely vain, against scientific truth, common sense and conventional theological revelation as tested by the greatest minds. If you choose to be a gnostic, then create your own stories, but don't steal this ordinary woman, who with God's merciful grace made her a saint like other saints who were subject to ordinary limits and mortality and weaknesses, etc.
