@@Vinneltv Thank you. I've just checked there is an adapter that can fit the kitchen tap, ot then connects to the hose.

The adapter sells for £1 at b&m and it gets the job done.

10mins and not even one spray of the hose to show that it works??? missed a trick there

The Hozelock system is a useless piece of shit. I don’t think it’s possible to fit it on a mixer tap. I’ve got mine connected to an outside tap that has a nozzle with a thread. All goes well until the spray gun detaches from the hose and I get drenched.
