How to Cloud: Foe far away? Charge limit. Foe close? Use one of you insanely fast, insanely powerful, and no-cooldown moves (which is all of them) to knock them away. Charge limit. Have limit? Use side B or B to knock foe away. Charge limit. Depending on character you're facing, you could get 40 to 70 percent limit back. Repeat until you win.

clouds op, not in numbers but in his moveset and gimick, hes already powerful being a swordsman with that almost if not as big as ike range in his melee without the startup or endlag, and hes got a spammable projectile, and okish recovery without limit, with limit he has insane verticle recovery thats also a killmove, his standing still dancing bla- i mean cross slash is upgraded making it a powerful ledge trap, a powerful killmove, and a powerful punish, a kill projectile that goes through everything shouldnt be blocked cause youre stuck doing so, and is pretty strong and isnt as easy to get rid of in general, and finishing touch which also has wind, small number changes wont nerf cloud, also his charge is lagless, if they changed that then it practically still is

This video is like the steps that every Cloud 'main' goes through. Don't know if it's intentional, but it made the video hilarious Step 1: Bitch/complain about Cloud before release Step 2: Pick up Cloud cuz he's the best character ever Step 3: boaster about how good he is to everyone (Side effects may include always charging limit at the start of a battle, always going for finishing touch, always N-air in neutral, lots of side smash, and/or standing in a random area spamming blade beam) Step 4: get GIMPed off stage at a low percent and drop Cloud xD

Ok so according to this I am an actual cloud main that won't drop him :p Also limit broken side B is much more reliable than finishing touch and finishing touch pretty much only works when you have a read. Also a lot of stupid cloud "mains" don't realize you can just recover REALLY low and wall jump to survive

Maybe because it's one of those really dumb assumptions flying around. Alright? Just because they have a very Japanese design doesn't mean all of them were in anime. Really, the only "anime characters" in Smash are the Kirby cast, the Pokémon, Marth, Villager, and Capt. Falcon. Oh, and Sonic, Ryu, and Bayonetta. Pretty sure most of those don't fit their "definition" of anime. 'Specially not their precious Falcon.

you know, I swear that Match with Yoshi is very familiar. I main Yoshi.. that seems a LOT like how I play when Learning how to fight a character I've never fought before,Often inadvertantly kill myself with egg roll when trying to recover...I usually use the green yoshi, and I distinctly remember laughing my ass off killing a cloud in just the same manner around the time was released, especially when I thought I was going to lose the match.

i recommend using ur limit tornado thingy in the air

Cloud: spam your down b, when they attack, dodge, then use limit break, if all fails, forward smash and if that fails, spam all your specials

I havent tried cloud in smash ultimate yet but in 4 i would just space with B and go for the dunk with the F air. Never bothered to charge his super move when all of his moves hit like a truck.

Technically Shulk is the strongest anime swordsman in Smash 4 tbh. His Monado Arts gives him the advantage point to most of his match ups.
