Brother, thanks for the tips. I cleaned most of the grease with hand, then put all the plastic covers and fan itself in the diswasher and it came out like it was brand new.

How did you get the motors OUT? I have a Thermador hood, also. Thanks!!!

For me, it was easy because I remove the hood and then disassemble the motors. If you are planning to remove the motors only then you need to open the screw and wiring and trust me it will be a tough job, I would suggest removing the whole hood and then working on the motors, I hope it helps.🙏 You're welcome! 🙏 Glad it helped! 🙏 Thanks for the like and thanks for watching.🙏

How do you clean the motor with a lot of grease gunk? Do you spray the motor with degreaser?

You can use any spray to see if it comes out easily then it's good but if it's too thick then you need to do DIY work just like I have shown in the video. You need to scrape it off. Thanks for watching, good luck with your DIY project, and please share the results.🙏

This is a great topic, and what I need to see. Too bad it is just some guy jabbering. How did you uninstall? How was it disassembled? This is a completely worthless video. It is bizarre.
