How To Clean Your Gaming PC! (2022 Update)

Ғылым және технология

Today I'll be showing you my updated version of how to clean your pc with some new effective methods like an air duster vs the conventional canned air!
💨Air Dusters I Recommend:
amzn.to/3XU7IhG
amzn.to/3OgIuqx
amzn.to/44Pn7SC
Keeping your Gaming PC physically clean of dust and other grime is just as important as keeping your PC safe from viruses! If you do not routinely clean your PC then it can lead to poor air flow and potentially thermal throttling which could be a reason you are experiencing frame drops or worst performance then usual! Its a very simple and easy process so don't overthink it, as explained in the video you can clean your pc with canned or compressed air, an air dust, leaf blower, Shopvac or whatever else you feel like using just make sure to take the proper precautions when doing so. Goodluck!

Extra tip: Use qtips to remove dust that might not come off with an air duster. This is especially true if you haven't cleaned your pc in a while as dirt tends to get stickier. You can also use isoporpil alcohol to clean non-electrical things such as the case plastics and/or tainted glass

actually, you can use pure 100% Isopropyl alcohol on electronics to clean things like corrosion, hardened thermal paste etc. although just general maintenence like this there wouldn't be much point other than cosmetic marks on the case etc

I clean my every 3 months because is on top of my gaming table, which means less dust gets there and also because my pc has enough space to breath well and has a lot of vents, tho I check it monthly to see how is the dust inside. I'd say compressed air cans is still the easiest and cheapest way.

I read somewhere also you should at most use 20 PSI pressure for PC cleaning, otherwise you might over time loosen the capacitors and other components on the motherboard/graphics card, even if you're careful to only blow air into the heatspreader fins. I have an old graphics card that suffered exactly from this -1 capacitor :P

I’m only worried about that air can duster bc it sprayed alittle nitrogen at the PCU so I’m giving it time to possibly dry, it didn’t have but 1 sec on the component but just to be sure

There‘s no electro-magnetism going on here (at least not to an extent that could do any damage). Static electricity is a real problem if you use a vacuum, though. Seriously, don’t use a vacuum, it’ll kill your PC. Also, not blocking off the fans might also destroy your motherboard, because electric motors are really just generators in reverse, so when you spin them mechanically, they’ll output electricity. It’s good practice to keep yourself grounded while cleaning your PC.

It’s been about 5 month since I have gotten my pc and I didn’t clean it yet, it’s not very dusty. So do I just clean it how you did? Also can you tell me if I should buy the air duster from Bestbuy, Amazon, or Canada computers.

I REALLY wouldn't suggest a Shopvac! If it's anything like mine it generates a lot of static electricity, and you certainly don't want to fry your components while cleaning it out.

My father has a air blower, verrryy strong that is used for drying his motorcycle when he washes it, i use it on my laptop and consoles. Wondering if ive been getting lucky or if i can also just do this on my pc. If so itd make it soooo easy to clean out as this thing is very strong with the cone nozzle attachment on.
