I use a wet cloth with a sprinkle of white vinegar. Works very easily. I actually do this while the glass is still a little warm. I clean the glass every morning before I restoke the fireplace. I have this same fireplace but the newer version with the tertiary air intake. Fantastic stove

Are you sure your glass is well sealed? Because it seems the air goes thru the top of that glass
