i find my drawings loose some of their "energy" as clean line art. Any tips with that?

Exactly! It looks less skilled as line art, but good as a sketch!

I just wanted to say i really appreciate your videos and i own quite a few of your Udemy courses and will make sure to buy the next one!
How come whenever I sketch it always looks good, like I'm satisfied with it. However whenever I start the line art, it always looks messy and incomplete, like a 5 year old made it. The lines are straight and like everything is drawn over nicely, but it looks plain. I dont know how to explain it. It always looks like it's missing something.

Hey_den10 it has gotten better for me since last year (not great, but it’s an improvement), but I’m not sure why I wanna know the answer to this, too
For those who cant afford the ipad and apple pencil can you do tutorials for other programs like "Autodesk sketchbook" or "Photoshop"?

Procreate and photoshop are very similar, you can apply most everything he teaches on any drawing software.
Down sizing painting on procreat without losing quality?
So many people recommend technical pencil, but I like pen way more...

Indeed i think he does, I do too But honestly I draw on iPad mini and I have like no space ;-;
