Great tutorial. I like the approach where you have the finished layers ready to show after you’ve briefly demonstrated the technique. Like the old cooking shows where they’d have the finished dish in the oven already.

YES!!!! this is the best tutorial I've ever found on painting in procreate!!!! everyone else uses Adobe or other programs, and I'm sooo happy I found your channel!!! definitely earned my sub!!

This was an outstanding intro for someone moving from traditional to digital art! The one thing I'm baffled by, no matter how many videos, etc, I watch is the layer adjustments such as the ones you used, like multiply. Any suggestions? 😊

I'm only halfway through this video and have learned so much wow. I finally understand the warmer cooler concept most of my shadows/lighting has always looked muddy/flat because I'll color pick and darken or lighten without moving towards warmer or cooler levels because I didn't quite understand what that meant until now. The way you break everything down to it's simplest terms is truly remarkable thank you! You are very good at teaching and I can't wait to learn more from you.

This is some of the best 20 minutes I’ve spent on this app. I digitally ‘direct paint ‘without lines art because I have a huge issue wrapping my head around this like I can with oils or acrylics. Thank you so much this helped A LOT

I think what was so appealing about this video was how in depth it was because I have been trying to figure out how to best do this and I came up with nothing. Also I am wondering about how you get such good textures on your work.

Jordan Buchi use brushes like the charcoal block so it paints texture in. If I need some smoothed I can always go back in with the blur tool

I'm kinda speechless after watching this! There were So Many useful (and brilliant) fundamentals in this video. I don't use Procreate, but you covered the ideas so well I should be able to replicate everything in Clip Studio Paint, or other programs.

finally got somthing ....no one really explain like you .. i havebeen frustrated already .. its been almost one year... but not got any one who actually explains it free.. it help,, really IT HELPS A LOT. for peopel like us.. m desparate to learn properly but no one actually giving it free.. finally got some one to learn from step by step,, finally... thanks thanks.. thanks.. dont know how i should thank you for this kind of explaination. please please please make some this kind of videos where students like us who can realy learn art fundamentals,, colour theory etc etc, i dont even know what are those term to say actually . you know lot. a lot. it helps a LOT.. i know skilled peopel like you are busy alltime.. if it is possible then please make some videos for becoming like a good artist. i dont know that r those all things that make a skilled artist,,,, you know it . you are good. please if possible then please give us your knoledge, please i know now i can not buy. but one day i will be able to . but i desparetly want to know this things any how. i will wath your all videos.. i just got you now. i will deeply follow your all instructions.. it help,, colour slider basic i have learned now.. i dont how deep it is, but you cleared lot of things now.. you man soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. thanks thanks thank you soooooooooooooooooo much...
