Bad ass wheels. Good job on bringing them back.

My wheels look like those before polishing. I had the powder coated in Jan. 2019 and in less than a year they started getting deep water spots that I can't remove. I've tried the 50/50 vinegar and water, nothing happens. I haven't tried any chemicals. Any suggestions.

Where did you buy the acid?

So first you put the acid then you put the diamond thing?

Yes wet wheels wash with a microfiber with the acid they will turn hazy then the diamond polish will bring it back to mirror finish

Just out of curiosity, can one clearcoat them with a 2K clear or something?

You could but if it starts to chips then you’ll be left with a bigger mess or trying to remove the clear if you have full aluminum forged wheels I wouldn’t clear coat them it’s possible they could get oxidation under the coating once polished out use ceramic spray coating to keep them clean and from dirt attaching itself

It will clean chrome just make sure you wet the wheel first don’t let the wheel acid dry on it it will clean the dirt/corrosion out of the pitting and I always put ceramic spray coating afterwards will keep them easy to clean for about 4 weeks then repeat

My wheels look worse than that
