    Feel free to add other seafood, but keep in mind they may have different cooking times. For scallops I prefer them seared.

    That's a french recipice, so if your wifey don't like butter you can put some fresh cream instead of butter, it's also better well. And don't forget the french Alsace white wine for cooking. ;)

    I typically use cooking wine since it is cheaper 😂 but you can use Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, the dryer ones.

    A family friend brings us mussels and fish every time he goes freediving, they come with so much stuff stuck to their shells, I usually take about 3 hours to clean around 3 kg, but they're so tasty 😂

Mussels at least have their grip on rocks and don't move much, but turtles, they really have the bad end, when there's too many barnacles they can't swim and most times die from starvation ; ;) such a slow and painful death.     I have refrigerated them for a day before cooking them so I think it’s fine. Just make sure not to refrigerate them while submerged in water or they’d die

    @@rackoflam Since I don't always have white wine handy to use in cooking, I keep a bottle of dry white vermouth which lasts forever. It's not the same thing but works for me. By the way, it looks like cilantro, not parsley on the photo!

    Mussels farms place mussels seeds on ropes. The mussel beard is from ropes they use in mussel farm. it is not part of the mussels and they did not use it to anchor themselves 🤦‍♀️
