*Solid, **Fastly.Cool** and gets the job done. For rooms where window-mounted air conditioning is not an option, this works very well. Easy set up, rapid cooling, and great design.*

You da man !! You 2/2 with me now !!! This vid did the trick with my ac here and it may of even been a little dirtier than yours. My symptoms were strange noises, sometimes vibration and surge like. Your Osprey 40 vid really helped me in purchasing one before I left the US for the Phils many months ago. Thank you and Happy New Year to you !!!!

Thanks mate! We've had a bit of respiratory issues and finally figured it's our air conditioner! Thanks for helping us clean it out! Ours seems to be in much worse shape than this (maybe years of non-cleaning). Anyway, Cheers!

Excellent. And thank you. Not to quibble, but I believe that the dust is actually coming from outside, and your filters are cleaning it for you and protecting the system at the same time.

Cheers from the jungles of Thailand. Our rental was full of dust in the bedroom. Only 6 weeks in and it was a new unit, but as dusty as yours in the vid! Going to monitor daily now to get a sense of build up. Dry season just ending and lots of building around here so bit dusty i guess...

What would you have done if the filter was cotton or paper? Something that water might mess up? I have an AC system whose filter replacements cost $40+ I was thinking about using a leaf blower on the filter or maybe a garden hose spray or maybe soaking it. Just looking to extend the life and effectiveness of the filter and save some money.

I have a large, old Fujitsu floor-level but wall mounted 4 panel air-con unit with four coils inside behind each panel - these coils look like alternators from an old car, not like modern coils in a modern air-con unit that stretch the length of the unit. The air-con unit I have just has these 4 coils inside the body of the unit too, nothing else, and the unit is quite large so there is lots of unused space inside. On the top there are four blow-holes for the cold air. The 4 front mounted panels pull down easily and they each have a filter attached to them which are easily accessed and simple to clean. Each of the coils though has an internal filter that I can see from peering in from the side and these are badly clogged up with dust..........but I don't know how can I access these filters. The 4 coils operate as two pairs and they have an adjoining motor which in turn has a spindle extending through the centre of each coil. So I can't remove the coils from the air-con unit without removing the motor and everything is firmly fixed to the body of the unit. Does anyone know what I'm talking about (hahaha) and can tell me how to access these filters? I cant get a vacuum head in there, there just isn't enough space for the actual extension head. It's a 5 minute job cleaning the filters if I can get them out - but the engineer I use lives on the opposite side of the city and takes him 90 minutes to 2 hours to get here so he charges for travel time. I've looked at scores of videos on KZread for advice and none feature a unit like mine - they're all a lot newer and smaller and different.

Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I kzread.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

good vid. thks, what is missing is you did not show the secondary filters and how the come out... global warming is not the big issue, the air pollution from both inside and outside sources is killing people a lot faster than any global warming is right now.
