I had to accept the overdrive reward mission twice for it to go thru but on 2nd attempt it worked

One thing to note, if you want to use the rental F7A in the XT event, you should _not_ accept the new mission yet - wait until after Invictus, when XT starts.

Say you get the upgrade to the f7a mk2, are you allowed to upgrade from that to something else still? And what's the value of that in the chain, like what's the next ship you can upgrade to for 5 dollars or whatever? Cos it's not in the upgrade list so I can't figure it out.

If you melt it you loss the upgrade and just get the value of the origenal ship. It doesn't look like you can upgrade it to a different ship after the F7A upgrade, It does not show up in my upgrade list.

I did all five overdrive iniciative missions now i have 3 more where i have to shoot Down 3 npcs to get special cards... And i have f7c in my hangar but its a upgraded mustang alpha which i bought as a starter pack is that upgrade gona work with this one? And am i gona get the token after i finish those three missions?

Yup you’ll be able to upgrade still

yo so i dont have a f7c mk2 but i see the overdrive missions with priority what i cant do at my own 26 ships only fist mission could get half alone and cant share it eather or ?neather reallyt have the friend for it but i recently buyed the f7c m super mk1 can i get the ship still at this time bcs the f7c mk2 isnt availble anymore and you need that one to upgrade right or im a wrong ? so is it still possible ?

You can only upgrade the MK II, If you can finish the Overdrive missions and get the upgrade, you can save it untill the MK II goes on sale again.

ive completed the missions, accepted the priority reward mission 3 times now and bought the Standalone MKII Hornet, the Xenothreat armor came through but no ship?

Press the ‘ key. Type mission_log_ all_completed_missions (then check to verify all missions done. A few have been glitching and this is the most reliable way to see whats completed. They wont be listed in order either.

Is it still possible to do this to get the upgrade? Or did i lose my chance once 3.23 came out?

Correct, gotta buy it. That said atm they do have a warbond version for 160$ or you might be able to upgrade a ship tothe f7c mk2

I did all the Overdrive and I have the F7A rental. I already own the Lightning, and I'm not a huge fighter pilot. So I didn't buy the civilian Mark 2. If I bought it now, would it automatically upgrade? Since I have the Lightning would the F7A be an upgrade? downgrade? It would cost me less money, since I could melt the Lightning, buy the Hornet 2 and have credit left over! 🤷

No, It will not upgrade automatically, you have to apply the upgrade in your hanger.

@Dracounguis in my experience of doing a little pvp bounty hunting, the f8c lightning is a formidable for. It's a single seater I believe, with about 8 guns at the pilots control. It also is quite maneuverable, so I would try to keep it if you ever have any interest in delving into combat P.S. when I encountered it, I was in a rsi scorpius, which is also a formidable fighter. Now I wasn't at full firepower since I didn't have a gunner with me, but it still forced me to run away

Yes, but you had to have completed all the overdrive missions has well.

Yes they extended them, go to your contract and they should be in the priority tab. Should be overdrive in the name.

The streamer I watch, CobraTV, is generally helpful if someone needs something done. Him and his crew have happily helped others. That was before the new patch dropped and people were bored anyway, so I'm not sure how it is now.

crappy event, with rewards involving spending IRL money.... after 800million dollars in funding, 12 years, and not much in terms of actual meat... it's just disappointing as per usual with CIG...

@hairlessvulture9501 it's called hyperbole. Its exaggerated for effect but not meant to be taken literally. They've been making GTA games since 1995, so it's been 29 years, and 30 when GTA6 finally comes out. Think of that though. All of the other GTA games were made in 18 years, and GTA6 using everything they learned from making all those other games, it still has taken them 10+ years and $2 billion dollars to make.

I'd much rather the game not be paid for by ESG funding and a game that I directly paid hundreds if not thousands of dollars for, comes out when its ready. Are you about to quit gaming in a few years? What does it matter if it comes out 5 years from now? I'd rather it be the best game it can be if I directly invested. Star Citizen is a vastly larger and more complicated game than GTA6 also
