Thanks for your question, sadly they might be slow-rolling the phases one week at a time on the lead up to a big Xenothreat Invictus Event. (where everyone can use their F7As).

Nice! Thanks, I heard some bits about the power plant but appreciate the clarification!

The paints officially state which hornet they work for on the store page: The simoom sand paint states "This paint is exclusively for the F7A Hornet Mk II and is not compatible with the F7C Hornet Mk II variant." the others have a note saying they are cross compatible between both. also sad note: since the blue and dark camo variants are stock paints on their respective models, they cannot be equipped by anything else. an F7A mk2 can never be blue, and an F7C mk2 can never be dark camo (until they sell it to us)

Thank you for clarification, yesterday None of the paints worked for me. however this does appear to be resolved today.

The speed difference is likely due to more mass (armor) on the F7A. They did the same thing with the Idris P vs M.

Yeah, there is a lot of speculation in the community on if they will do Mk2s for any of the varients. Personally I'd like to see the Ghost Mk2 the most!

I believe the F7A is 2 size 2s and 2 size 3s, not 4 size 3s as arlington mission f7a is the same ship.

Please take into account there is a Mk1 F7A and a Mk2 F7A The weapon hardpoints on the Arlington mission ship is size 3s on top and size 2s on the chin. The chin mount is compatible with the Mk2 F7C but the turret is only appliable if you already have one in your Vehicle Loadout Manager. But the F7A mk2 stats according to CIG's published material (as show in the video) is a different mount with size 3s on the chin. Despite having access to all Mk1 varients and all of the components apart from the Mk2 F7A chin turret we have tried moving them around between the ships and there are some compatibility issues (specifically with tractor beam attatching to the MK2's ball turret position. This appears to be intentional by CIG as the snap point does not exist.

Only two of the Hornet paints are working for it at the moment, none were yesterday but silver is today and I saw the Concierge paint today too.

You seem to be very focused on the speed and the guns on the spec sheet and totally missed the fact the F7A has 1 size 2 power plant and the F7C has 2 size 1 power plants that is very important.Not sure if the larger power plant gives you more power to distribute to energy weapons and shields as well as other components now or in the future.

The larger powerplant hopefully indicates larger capacitors on the F7A although could also indicate a longer recharge time. But it's all getting rebalanced soon anyway and I don't have the F7A (MK2) to compare yet, will do a propper comparison in the future.

@@kaventiaplays I will say this 2 small power plants is still a very good thing you can have a Slipstream stealth power plant with 1788 power and a power request time of just 1.25 seconds that's enough power to run the whole ship and it's very fast recovery also you could literally shut the other engine down to lower your signature in stealth mode and all systems would still be running, the other engine could be a JS-300 military grade with 3681 in 10 seconds giving you a total of 5469 pool.but that 1.25 seconds will get you flying and shields charging fast,a great combo that can only be done with two power plant set up, you could even go 2 slipstreams for very fast power startups but the JS-300 is still going to create right around 736 power in the first 2 seconds and 1840 in 5 seconds so the other slipstream would be for the stealth advantage only not really necessary for faster energy demand. For the military version the Eclipse stealth again with the same 1.25 seconds as it's smaller counterpart or the JS-400 military grade again with 10625 and a power request time of 10 seconds.big pool or fast pool so I think two power plants might actually be better as a redundancy back up systems and speed.Thank you for the reply and info on the mission,I have not done them yet.

Knowledge like this is invaluable for trying to make stealth into viable gameplay for current, but more importantly future gameplay mechanics, so I appreciate your comment and info! Feel free to join my discord and I may make a section to share Stealth and "acquisition" knowledge.

Do I only have to complete the 5 missions to get the F7A or do I also have to wait for the phase 2 missions to complete?

There 5 phases in total, as of today you can complete two of the 5 phases. I'll be doing a weekly video to cover each type of mission.

Do I have to do the missions in the hornet ,,? Or can I bank the unlock in my Santos ?

You can use any ship to do the missions. Infact you don't even need to have the F7C purchased to unlock the upgrade for your account.

Seriously don't name your video this when over half of the video has nothing to do with you doing the mission and the part that does isn't anything resembling a useful guide.
