This channel is my go to for finding out information, I honestly have had a hard time understanding all of the components that go into a gaming PC. But it's really helped me and actually, I've found something I am quite enjoying learning about. I'm slowly building up my confidence to build one one day, but I will start with upgrading an older one so I can get used to it. Love the videos, I've watched alot, keep up the builds!
Hi pc centric I recently built my first pc - your videos were the first ones I watched so thank you for that!
Ahhh another video by PC Centric. As usual, I am NOT disappointed ;)

This is literally the most needed tech video I was trying to explain the difference in motherboards to someone and I might have well just been trying to teach them quantum physics
Thanks for this! I was mainly confused about why there were so many different variants of the same model motherboards, so thank you for clearing that up.
I love this dude. He just explains things properly without over-plaining.
You always have just the video I need when I search. Thanks for all you do :)

Hey thats loads of info, thanks man.
Thanks again bro... very useful information.
Mate ur a legend!!
im new to building a pc so this helped a bunch. thank you
I usually go for the higher-end motherboards because I like to keep improving over time. I mainly need storage, so extra ports and so forth are usually what I'm looking for. I do try to be a bit persnickety: if a board has too many 'features,' I usually shy away from it (and the price).
Nice to see my ROG Strix B550 Gaming E board on display. Love the look too. Just finished build last week:). Manual in the box sucks though, go online and get a full diagram of board. Much easier for cable connecting
A motherboard is the main printed circuit board in general-purpose computers and other expandable systems. It holds and allows communication between many of the crucial electronic components of a system, such as the central processing unit and memory, and provides connectors for other peripherals.
Cool ,all I needed to know👍❤️
Thanks! great video!

I used a Asrock z390 phantom gaming 4s/ac for my 1st gaming pc. mainly bc it was sold with the CPU (i7 9700kf. I managed to get ahold of a 3060 msi ventus 3x OC for MSRP I waited for months, n wanted a 3060 ti but it was the only gpu that I could get for under 500. I originally was gonna buy a series x but I refused to give in to “scalpers”
Was watching a Gamers nexus video on motherboards, loved it but haven't got a clue about what he was saying. And then, out of nowhere, comes this fella. Shepherds me through the valley of darkness, and make everything clear! Love bro, lots of love! ♥️
While I probably over spent on my motherboard, it has a lot of features I wanted/needed. It’s also very aesthetically pleasing. Since I was getting a 5950x and a 3090, I went full bore with an X570 Aorus Xtreme and have been very happy.
Are you planning on reviewing the SPATHA X? I want to know if it is any better than the origonal.
I have a rog maximus v gene with a 2500k overclocked to 4.5ghz - it works pretty well other than that time the two dimm slots closest to the cpu stopped working for a while!

im getting a new pc and im not sure what a good combo of parts is. Is the asus prime b450m-a ii paired with ryzen 3600 and rtx 3060 a good combo. i have a budget of around £1000
I’m thinking of getting a R7 5800x and a 3080 with plans to overclock. I’m not really on a budget but I would prefer if the mother board isn’t over like $250. A little more than that is still fine though. Thanks for the great content dude!

I need an advice , should i get Asus TUF gaming b450m-pro II or a gigabyte b550m ds3h for my ryzen 3600, i love the looks of the Asus TUF but i plan on upgrating for a stronger CPU like ryzen 7 or 9 , any advice what should o go fpr ?
I’m trying to build my first pc, so do you have and recommendations on websites i can use to shop for parts?
I watched your short and i was searching for the vid, couldnt find on channel. And then searched manually and got here😂😂 Im so confused
Hi, I would like to ask you, that what is the best motherboard fot processor with integrated graphics, for example, AMD RYZEN 5 5600G or i5 11600
Hi PC Centric. I have a question regarding motherboards. I am building a pc with rtx 4090 and i9 13900k. I will be using for gaming, specifically flight sim vr. I want a z790 motherboard but don't want to spend too much. Have you any recommendations for z790 boards that won't break the bank but also that won't bottleneck the expensive other components? Thanks!
I bought a TUF B550 non-wifi, which has all I need Better sound chip then Prime, so worth the extra few bucks The only thing that I would prefer on Strix is built-in IO shield, but paying extra just for that didn't seem worth it
hi I have HYTE Y60 coming and need a bit of advice will a Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WIFI II fit in the case I have been told ATX may not fit
Hey if I have a 3090 rtx , 5950x, and a new rog extreme viii motherboard!! What is the best ips 4K monitor that I can get to get the best out of my high performance card??
I'm planning to use a 5 5500 Ryzen AMD with a MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI). And I'm wondering if I need to do a BIOS upgrade.. (This is gonna be my first gaming PC btw)
You probably mentioned this and I missed it but do the usb ports on the motherboards i/o panel need to be plugged into one of the motherboards usb headers or do they just get power from something else?
So I’m thinking of building my first PC. Can’t decide on which parts to get. I play Warzone and would use Photoshop for photo editing. Can you help? My total budget would be around £2k
Can you do one for workstation motherboards/builds
Was the one motherboard you where holding was it a asus rog strix x570-e gaming motherboard??
30th wow i still manage to watch these even tho im broke and can onyl get this stuff in like 5 years
I recently bought a msi rtx 3080 and suppose to be here at any minute or later maybe tomorrow and it’s in my city/town but I don’t have all the components other than the pc case and bought the rtx I still have lots to go to get my other parts together and wait till I get paid next week
i was thinking of a ryzen 5 5600g and a b550 f or b550 plus what do u think
I have a Prime B550-Plus and it's pretty good. Games run smooth. Wish I had Bluetooth though.
Hey mate is Z570 worth it over B550? 130-150€ area
My problem is not knowing what will last, because some boards will be incompatible with later CPUs. I once bought a cheap motherboard with my Ryzen 5 2400G. Kept getting issues with Windows 10 updates. I replaced the motherboard with a more expensive one and no more issues. Now I'm not sure if my board will have issues with a 3rd gen Ryzen. I don't want to have to buy a new motherboard with every CPU upgrade.
How will I know what component is compatible with the motherboard?
If I'm just gonna use 1 gpu, is it better if I just go with the micro atx motherboard? Tia
For any people new to pc when he says doesn't support wifi it doesn't mean you can't get WiFi with the motherboard it means it isn't inbuilt on the motherboard - you'll have to buy a wifi card to get wifi.

Thanks!👍 I'm just an old 'wi-fie' myself 🤭, but I was wondering why anyone these days would want a computer that wasn't on that internet. My friend has a fridge that's on the internet! Seriously, it can order milk from the supermarket when she runs out!😱 Don't know how it opens the door to the delivery man but still it's awfully clever isn't it?! I suppose you could have an offline gaming PC just so you could enjoy the funky disco lights but I'd rather one I could use for internetting too, so thanks for clarifying that. Have a nice day!😊

any motherboard recommendations for a ryzen 5 3600 cpu ?
Hey Pc Centric, i have a bit of a problem. So the context is that i’m saving for a Pc, preferably with an rtx 3060. but my pc will probably be around 2000$ aud, and right now i have a 2017 21.5 inch iMac i got from a hand-me-down. I have saved birthday money from my recent birthday, and i predict it’ll take me around 1 and a half to 2 years to save for my dream pc (rtx 3060). The only games i play right now are Minecraft, and i want to be able to run minecraft with shaders at high Fps and high settings. Should i save for a cheaper pc? or should i wait longer for a 3060? and if a cheaper pc might be a good option, what parts would you recommend for my needs?
I don’t really understand what do you mean buy saying it can’t support wifi, do you mean that if the motherboard doesn’t have this feature it can’t connect to the internet?
Will i lose performance even tho i plug a 3090 to a prime board or does is not affect the performance of the cpu gpu or ram at all ?
Does all motherboards have multiple plugs for fans

Great video. I knew the case I was getting would have a front USB C port. I'd be using a number of fan headers, and RGB on the board wasn't important to me. I chose my board accordingly. (MSI B550 Gamer's Edge WiFi). It's not the most attractive looking, but all the headers just seemed to be right where they were needed for easy cable routing. Beyond that, I expect it to remain in the background doing it's job without much further attention for the life of the PC.
