Hey thanks for the video, when you changed the fuel filter was there anything you had to do after putting in the new one ?

Other than tighten everything down, no. I have never had an issue with the system priming itself after changing it.

On these BRM Jetta's you cycle the key 2-3 times before starting so the fuel pump primes the fuel system. I believe you can also prime these with VCDS but never tried. It's a must on newer TDI's though.
What brand of oil did you use? Ive heard using German Oil and even brands like Amsoil instead of Mobile 1.
