Occasionally check that black cap on the pump, mine occasionally comes loose and causes vacuum issues. Also open and clean out the top cap filter once a month, to avoid oil mist filling the room.

Thanks for sharing your video, but you're filtered oil is still not clear. My oil looked the same way I thought I was doing. something wrong, because when it first started filtering, it looked like it was white drops, clear drops. But as when I noticed it was finished, It was oily looking. Thanks

How do you know when to change the oil?

Every 20-30 batches, your freeze dryer also alerts you when it’s time with a message on screen. Or if you oil looks cloudy or dirty it should be changed.
