Hello, I’ve a 250 RMZ 2016 and they have 2 oil strainers. The other one is behind the ignition cover. To be honest, I’ve never cleaned it. Only the one You showed in this video but did you ever did both?

I clean the mesh filter every other oil change usually, it is just picking up clutch Fibres from clutch wear

At 3:37 if you pause there what are those connections by the radiator cause my bike is missing that ???

that is the interchangeable fuel mapping plug, it allows you to make the bike run leaner or richer by changing couplers for better performance in different humidities and riding conditions, this is a 2017 rmz 250 so if yours is a different year it might not have one or it could be in a different location, but if your bike is not EFI than it wont have this. I hope this helps:)

Sorry for the late response KZread isn’t showing me comments😤 I only do it once or twice a year if it needs it and then I just check the spark plug every other oil change. The manual does not say when to change it sadly. I hope this helps😁

Have you ever had a sputter issue at low rpm bottom end? I have 2013 rmz 250 and I don’t know why it doesn’t bog but almost like misfires at a low rpm but has power all the way the rest through. It’s super frustrating to figure lut

@@dirtbikeparadise so crazy. The kid I bought it from ran that Vp 4.4 fuel in it. So I think the plug got hot and closed the gap where it sparks. Practically closed so it made sense why if I was wide open she ran great but sputtered at a low rpm/bottom end. I thought it was something more major! Thank you again for the help!

Sorry it’s a NGK iridium CR8EIB-10 plug

I just got 21 Rmz 450.Do you really need to remove tank to change the plug? If so that is ridiculous engineering.

Sadly yep, but I’m not sure if it’s different on the 21 450 but if it’s in the middle of the head than you will most likely have to
