I broke the A string and had to put a new one on, it was hard. 😁 but I’m sure with practice I’ll get better. I tuned it too tight. I’ll be taking a look at your Erhus in the future. Love your videos

Use a tuner so you wouldn’t over tighten 👍🏼

Is it acceptable if we wire the outer string to the top peg and the inner string to the lower peg? If not, what is the acoustic or technical concern? Thanks.
How about a video on changing the bow string hair?

It is more complicated than violin bow hair, none of us really do that. So unfortunately, I won't be teaching that or recommend you trying that at home.
Hi, as for my erhu, the knob to tighten/loosen the string is stuck to the er hu. It has been some time I used the er hu and when I opened it, I realised the string was broken, thus I wanted to change it. That's how I found out that both knobs were stuck. How do I unstuck them?

I'm sorry can I ask something? I wonder if I can play the Erhu differently? Right hand on the strings, left hand holding the bow? Because I feel I'm comfortable in a position like that.
