    I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra and I've been running Royal Purple full synthetic and it's the best engine oil I've ever used. And yes it is kind of expensive but it's worth it because of all the people I know that have Hyundai Elantras and have engine noise problems I don't have any engine noises.😊

    Ya when ya buy a filter from Hyundai they give you a replacement. Always run the oem filter. The bypass spring is in the filter. Keeps oil pressure higher in high rpms.

  • @lanceweeda9807
    @lanceweeda98074 жыл бұрын

    The OEM Hyundai filter is far superior to the Bosch. Also, always use a new oil drain plug gasket. The Hyundai oil filter has heavier casing to resist pil pressure surges and an O ring gasket, which is superior to a flat gasket , like on the Bosch.

    hi, Auto Repair Guys! I have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra and it burned ALL the oil the first months after I bought it in 2018. Then, I started using high mileage oil and that basically quit happening. Now, water started mixing with the oil and the car is stalling after a few thousand miles, but when I change the oil it works fine again. Any suggestions on what could be happening that doesn't include needing to replace the engine? Thank you for the video! I did my first oil change myself this Feb 2020 on little ramps at home and it was amazing. Jes. :)

    You forgot the crush washer, it helps seal the hole and prevents stripping the threads on the oil pan. Hyundai filters are of good quality, and they also allow oil to bypass the filter on cold starts to get oil to the engine faster, which no other filter to my knowledge does.

    5w-30 works as well; just don’t use 5w30 if you live in a cold climate. 5w-20 is best for optimal mileage.

    If it's like my Elantra, the manual says you can also use 5W-30 and 10W-30.

    Why don't you guys use gloves? Seems like u two prob wear gloves when playin with eachothers bungholes so y not grab a pair or just double 'er up n change the oil in the car right after u change ur cute friends'?
