Thank you so much my instruction booklet said lift up the plastic shield first if down, it does not budge I found this video and realised I didn't need to lift it at all only turn the hex key. Much appreciated just used my saw today to upcycle wood I found free into tomato and other plants canes.

same here.. lol.. the more expensive brands have quick removal feature.. as we buy the cheap ones.. we need to figure things out on our own and this is very helpful

I just used it to cut a few pieces of plywood boards kzread.infoUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS works great. The blade that came with it isn't very good and I bought a much better bosch one which made much cleaner cuts. Blades were cheap, a few bucks.

It still works well, but then again I don’t use it very often, only for occasional jobs.
