I did as instructed but still says to replace battery on car when I start it. Tried a couple separate batteries, one I just bought at store and other was still in package from last time I changed. Is there a reset button some where?

Don’t pry in the key slot because the plastic is thin there. Grab a screwdriver and pry in the middle.
Using a flat head screwdriver works out much better when prying off the cover and battery. Just my two cents worth.
And dealerships wanna charge an arm and a leg to do this
