Great video, probably the cleanest boiler room I've seen. I need to learn how to cut/install insulation. Every time we have a repair in the boiler room, our insulation is not replaced.

You forgot the the brass washer, upper and lower, that prevents the new seal from being pressed into the steam and water valves.

Great Video, where do you buy the Glass, washers and the tool from? Need to change the sight glass on my steam boiler.
Any add’l tips on how to get the sight glass to stop leaking? I had replaced the entire setup, top/bottom valves, gaskets, washer and sight glass and still had leaks. I’m going to incorporate some of what you put in this video, but how about getting the glass lined up correctly when you change out valves?

Buenas tardes , si se abre la purga dela mirilla y lógico se queda sin agua para poder reemplazarla, inmediatamente se activa la bomba del tanque de condensados al detectar que se está bajando el nivel del agua ; entonces si se apaga la bomba para poder maniobrar la mirilla al momento de volverla a activar el generador de vapor se alarmara o hay que apagar también el generador de vapor para poder cambiar la mirilla ?

Can you change the site glass while the boiler running? Hi pressure boiler?

I am no expert but I don't believe that you can because the site glass contains water and the water valve and steam valves has to be turned off to change the site glass valve and the boiler can't be on
